The body on this project appears solid. Add in the rebuilt engine and it might be worth a look.

“I got a 1969 Jeepster. It is missing the top. Other than that everything is there. I rebuilt the engine 8 months ago but haven’t had a chance to actually drive the car since I have so many so I decided to let this one go. You will have to tow the car if you decide to buy it”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7999.
This seems like a good price, but this sounds like a dealer. Maybe the price isn’t serious? No engine or interior pics included in the ad.

This 1959 Jeepster project out of Lake Havasu City, AZ, has an unusual top. It looks like a hardtop of some type and seems to fit the Jeepster well. The large side window isn’t. very stylish, but the smaller one seems to fit the top. Anyone seen a top like this?

“Jeepster with running 4 cylinder 134cu.in flathead original engine and three speed with overdrive transmission. This is not a restoration. It runs (sounds good), works in all gears, (I do not know about the overdrive) has a new paint job. There is a new-inbox top and the bumpers have been re-chromed. The upholstery need to be redone with the proper padding. The rust is present but light for this type of auto. This is a great Jeepster to restore or make a car for cruising the foothill or your neighborhood. Title is in my name as non-op.
Look at the pictures and get in touch with me with your questions.
I have two other Jeepsters that will post soon.”
Looks like a great price.

“1951 Willys JEEPSTER touring car. Rare 6 cylinder flathead engine. 3 speed transmission with overdrive. Runs ands drives. There were very few 6 cylinder models made and even less still around. All early Jeepsters were 2WD. This car has been converted to 12 volt with alternator. This car has been stored indoors for the last 15 years. This is a good project car with no apparent damage and very little rust. It comes with 5 original wheels and 5 original hubcaps. It also has a spare soft top frame. It has a clear title and current Non-Op since it was last registered a few years ago. The odometer reads 00068.5 miles. I have more photos. This car has been sitting for several years. It starts and runs. Selling As/Is. No warranty. Asking $8500. Make me an offer, the worst I will say is ‘No thanks’ This is NOT a Wrangler! Facebook has no listing for Willys and you must select a current vehicle to list.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9500.

“1949 Jeepster , runs & stops, some rust in floor, needs a new top. Semi rare as they were only made in 1948,1949, 1950!”

“I purchased this Willy’s as it was in a off the frame restoration. It has been disassembled and all the parts I was given are still sitting in my barn. The Willy’s was soda blasted and all paint removed. It has since started to surface rust, I don’t want to see all the work lost. I am unable to complete the project and am will to sell. These were marketed from 1948 to 1951, the Jeepster Phaeton was a rather expensive niche vehicle and though admired by many, it was purchased by relatively few. What you see is what you’re buying except for the picture of the beautiful finished Willy’s. I included it as to show how this project was to turn out if I was to finish it.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $12,900. I had it last listed in 2017.

“1950 Willys Overland Jeepster
Affordable summer fun in a classic convertible starts here. The Jeepster was produced by Willys Overland for only 3 years, 1948-1950 with slightly more than 1100 produced in the final year. There were sales in 1951 but they were rebadged 1950 leftovers. This particular Jeepster is a wonderfully fun car that has been increasing in value steadily.
Apparently, someone at Willys Overland thought that the GI’s returning from the war would love to have a “Jeep” of their own that was family sized. As it turned out, most of the GI’s had their fill of Jeeps and sales went over like a lead balloon. This extremely limited production of Jeepsters makes them a rarity today.
Looks solid.

“I have Two Willys JEEPSTER projects both are 1950. I have enough parts to build both vehicles. These are two door four seat convertibles (Phaeton) style vehicles. These are very nice custom builder projects with pallets of spare parts. One body is on a highly modified original frame with four wheel independent suspension and four wheel disk brakes. The other body does not include a frame and can easily be fit to a Toyota Four Runner chassis or something similar. A zero time Mercedes-Benz 300 Turbo diesel engine and transmission are available at an extra cost”
