The builder of this jeep (who isn’t the seller) had an unusual solution for the front driveline. Not sure why it is attached at all. The seller also provides full disclosure that it shouldn’t be driven faster than 55mph.

Joe in Mesa shared these photos of a jeep he saw at the local Kmart Cruise Night. I really didn’t know there were any Kmarts left!
He writes, I spoke to the owner who told me the cab was 50(?) Willys, front grill from a different Willys, 55 Chevy front axle, and 55 Ford pickup bed. I like the military theme and the graphics, sayings, and stickers. Nice guy, too. I told him about eWillys.com and said I’d be sending you the pics and info. He suggested the pic of the interior since he still kept the original shift pattern sticker inside the glove box.

Buz spotted this lowered jeep at the Charlotte Auto Fair. The seller want’s $8500. After looking at the front end, I’m not sure I”d want to drive this too fast.

“Just in time for Spring is this one of a kind 1953 Willys Hot Rod Truck. It may still say 4 wheel drive on the Hood but this bad boy has been transformed from snow plow duty to a bitchin Street Rod. The project started with a super clean stock 53 Willys pickup. The front end received a Mustang II suspension while the rear end came from a Lincoln. Four wheel disc brakes stop this machine like a 747. A brand new Ford 302 crate motor handles the power. the engine was placed as low and as far back as possible which gives this ride great handling. Inside has a bench seat and Jimmy Shine “spiked ball” shifter knob. Easy to drive and very reliable. New Painless Street Rod wiring. all lights, horn, turn signals etc. work as they should.”

This awesome Willys was newly finished in 2013. Custom made to look like its been sitting on the side of grandpas barn for the last 50 years. Custom patina paint by Kreative Designs gives the illusion that this rat rod Willys looks aged, but the closer you get , the more you realize this Willys is anything but old and tired. 468 Big Block Chevy with over 500+ Rear wheel horsepower (Custom built, blue printed, and balanced), TURBO 400 TRANS, MUSTANG II front suspension.

” This is a 1955 Willy’s Wagon that got chopped, sectioned, narrowed and shortened into a rat rod delivery. Has clean title. It has a 350 Chevy with a 700r4 automatic transmission. Holley carb, aluminum intake, stainless headers.HEI distributor, B&M shifter. It has new 6.50-16 tires on factory Willy’s wheels. New Speedway front axle, spring, radius rods kingpins etc. New triangulated 4-link, 2500 pound air bags. New underfloor power brake booster and master cylinder. New disc brakes and fuel tank. New tail lights. Has original steering wheel and steering box that work smoothly. The parking brake works with vintage brake handle. It is still a project with only a few things to finish. It will need…Radiator, drive line (parts included), wiring, fuel line, brake lines, glass, weather seals, torque converter cover, and an alternator bracket. Top of the line everything. Pro built. Wiring just finished.
Its a driver now, just needs finish install on the Vintage AC then carpets and door panels finished.

“Here is a 1946 Willys Jeep done RatRod style. It has the Patina look exterior with clear coat sprayed over it. It has a good running 350 engine and a smooth shifting 350 Transmission. It sits on S-10 frame with P/S and P/B. Yes it has rust in different places but just adds to the character. It has no glass in it except the windshield. It runs and drives good. It”s just a cool ride that you could drive and enjoy as is or restore as you like.”

It’s a project.
“1946 Willys Rat Rod/Hot Rod project. Willys body On a YJ frame, Z’ed in the rear over a full float 14 bolt axle, 4 linked with stock TJ arms and springs. Chevy 307 SB, with Edelbrock Performer intake & Holley 650. Original grill (as far as I know) and all four tires 31X9.5X16 included. Floor structure is there, just needs a floor. Front suspension needs to be built. Included are 1 Ton front inner C’s/hubs/rotors to make a custom axle. I can also include a complete I Beam axle, with a 4-5″ drop. And maybe even a complete passenger drop Dana 44 with the matching 8 lugs. This is a great start to complete the build, or part out! I’m open to trades, specifically looking for a tandem axle car hauler. I like anything automotive!”
