This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. No mention of ice cream equipment, so this may just be a DJ-5 painted with a Seahawks theme.

Markusz is selling this DJ-5. Looks in good shape.
“1982 AM General DJ5 United States Postal Service Jeep. Right hand drive automatic jeep. Pretty decent gray paint job with Army Vinyl theme. Runs, drives and stops. Lights, horn and locks work. Custom rear bumper. All glass and glass seals in good shape. Does not overheat, 4 cylinder engine runs smooth and transmission shifts as it should. Newer carpet inside. Decent shape tires. Good emissions and clean title, notarized ready to transfer. $2200 obo. Could be a cool little offroad toy or rat rod project.”

Gayland won these images at an auction. Like yesterday’s brochure, these show what at least some of the Army’s DJ-5s looked like. He’s got some naval photo images he plans to share later.
