No title, so not sure how the seller came up with a year. Not sure what this was originally.

It’s deep in the mountains of Colorado, but still may be worth a look for someone more local.

UPDATE: **SLD** Was $2000.
Given the price, this might be worth a look.
“It’s got a 6cyl in it. New tires for it . It might run been sitting for a long time but nothing really wrong with it but the fender and rust will take best offer . All original”
There’s been a lot of work done on this. Seems like a pretty good price.

The jeep looks great. It’s sporting a Kelly half cab. I met the seller a few years ago at a non jeep event.

It is time to say goodbye after 30 years of fun. This is a great Alki beach cruiser. I’m the second owner. I found this in the north Georgia mountains in a barn in 1994. Make an offer.”

“1955 CJ 5 Runs and has a clean title Has a new carburetor, fuel pump, and battery. Has a PTO winch $4000 firm”
Lots of potential here. It also includes the Kelly top with vertical rear doors. It does have a title issue though.

“very solid Kaiser built CJ-5 restoration project, V-6 Dauntless (Buick) engine in running condition, working snowplow, excellent tires, transmission and clutch in working order, new fuel pump and filter, I flushed the fuel tank and lines which are very clean and rust free, recent oil change, other than surface rust there is no rust rot on the vehicle, floor is solid,
it runs and drives, doesn’t smoke, there is a title but it was signed in the wrong places by the previous owner and DMV wants a new title which requires submitting the existing title and a certified vin verification but CSP will not issue a vin verification unless the vehicle is roadworthy meaning all the lights, horn and wipers work, or you could just bond for a new title…
it also needs a battery, the emission air pump is seized and disconnected, the manual choke cable is stuck and needs replaced or lubed, drivers door latch needs a little work, there are some seeping seals and gaskets but the drivetrain seems in solid condition, some play in the steering, brakes work but could use attention, it was purchased new in Steamboat Springs, lifelong Colorado vehicle and sat in a field for a few years when the fuel pump went out, the odometer reads 05336, so I assume it’s rolled over, a great candidate for restoring though it wouldn’t take much to get it basic working condition and plow your drive. Email questions and contact info”
The buy-it-now price is $23,000. This jeep lacks a title.

“Note: This Jeep does not have a title. It will be sold with a bill of sale only based on engine number – MD 65930. Don’t read any further if you can’t deal with buying it on a bill of sale only. Getting a title is possible through a title company or through the DMV in your state once you purchase it depending on the laws in your state.
Offered for sale is a one-of-a-kind clone of the infamous Willys 1950 X-98 prototype. This type jeep was never mass produced as it was a transitional jeep Willys proposed in1950 with new hood lines to accommodate the overhead valve F-Head engine. Only a handful of originals were built with no known survivors. This project was completed in 2023 and was recently featured in the Fall 2023 edition of “The Dispatcher” Magazine. I built this jeep based on the work of Bob Westerman who also recreated this missing link in early jeep evolution – our two are the only two working models known to exist today. For more info. This may well be worth a look. Only two pics and no description provided.. Thanks to Andy for sharing.

“‘m selling a Willy’s Jeep with a 2-point lift and PTO original to vehicle. The jeep has a title. I bought this as a project a while back haven’t done anything with it the previous owner did quite a bit of work on it the whole entire body was sandblasted metal is in really good shape which is rare. Body is primer with Automotive primer. will not take much work to finish body. Motor is unknown Currently out of the vehicle I was told it is going to need a rebuild I have a box full of parts off the engine looks like I have everything needed. All the hydraulic lines were replaced hydraulic cylinder repacked drivetrain gone through . All by previous owner . Brand new tires were put on a couple years ago no miles on them. This Jeep also comes with a factory plow pump and half cab with doors all original will not separate must buy everything these Jeeps with the three point hitch and 540 PTO are very rare especially in this condition.”
TJ shared this great Tux Park IV. It could use some new seats, but overall this appears in good shape. It even has an old club sticker on it.

“1973 jeep CJ 5. Straight 6, 4 speed. Posi rear end. Roll cage, header intake. This Jeep has been sitting for awhile. It needs a battery and some TLC. It is on a DMV non-op. $3,000.”
A new dash and some paint would improve this rig quite a bit.

“Runs great. Original Three Speed transmission, rebuilt. Original Dauntless V6 engine, rebuilt. Lots of fun Comes with soft top”
This maybe worth a closer look due to the classic deep dish slot rims and, possibly, the special aftermarket inset CJ-5 angled dash.
“Jeep sell whole. Ur gonna have to tow. Willing to trade for running car or street bike”
It’s a non runner, but still might be worth a look.
