“I am selling this 69 Cj-5 Jeep. It has new 31 inch tires on it and a brand new engine.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Nitrous included!
“What we have here is a 1958 Hillman Husky body mounted on a Jeep CJ5 chassis. It has won awards at The Street Rod Nationals, Lead East, and The Adirondack Nationals. It has been featured on “My Classic Car” with Dennis Gage on Speed Channel this past fall. It is powered by a 231 CI Buick “odd-Fire” V6. It is equipped with headers, MSD Ignition, aluminum radiator, and electric fan. It has a serious cam in it, and has been built to handle 150HP Nitrous shots. No engine bay modifications where made…it was engineered to fit, and looks like it could have been factory. It has a 3 speed manual transmission from the CJ. With manual locking front hubs, the 4 wheel drive is functional. A few other chassis features are, Dana 44 ‘s differentials (rear has locker), Rancho Suspension, front disc brakes, rear drums, master cylinder and power booster mounted on the frame rail. Everything under the car is painted and detailed. Body was painted while completely apart with base coat/clear coat solid orange and white. The interior is from the Hillman, and was custom stitched in black roll and pleat with orange piping and seatbelts. All interior panels, carpets, headliner, dash, was all done as well. It has a start button, directional lever on the dash in front of the tilt steering column, and am/fm/cd with remote. The glass, seals, tail lights, and door rubber was all replaced. Speedo does not work. Everything else does.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800
This looks solid with a nice cage and a post 72 front clip. However, it still looks very much like a project.
“Bought as a project never had the time. Have the frame, body, tailgate, windshield, soft doors, engine, transmission, axles, transfer case.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $12,500.
This is a great looking CJ-5 with, if I’m not mistaken, the Tuxedo Park IV package.
“Hard to find Original Tuxedo Park, Warn Overdrive. You will be hard pressed to find a better one.”
There looks to be $300 in value here.
“We have a 1969 CJ5 jeep with a straight 6 cylinder with a 3 speed manual, 4X4 with manual locking hubs.
This is a perfect jeep for someone who wants some parts or wants to completely rebuild and have a great restored fun to drive 4×4. (We do not have a windshield for it – lost in one of the moves.)
This was a running working jeep on our ranch and over time it started needing work then just got parked and forgotten, then we wanted to do a complete restoration on it and really never got started on it, now we just need to sell it, and let someone else add the TLC and then be able to appreciate it.
We are asking $300.00, please contact us via email and we can set a time for you to come look at it. ”

(01/13/2011) This might be a good deal (assuming the engine is good).

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1650.
It is a project.
“I have a 1957 Willys CJ5 Jeep project. The Jeep has an inline 4 cylinder F-head 134 cubic inch engine matched with a T-90 3 speed manual transmission. It also has high and low range along with 4 wheel drive. The Jeep is currently somewhat tore-down, the half-cab is off along with the hood and both fenders. The engine and transmission are still in tact to each other and still mounted to the frame. The engine runs good but may need some carburetor cleaning. I just don’t have the time to complete the project. Thanks for looking”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1400.
The engine is out.
“1957 Willies Jeep civilian version. The body is in good condition over all although there is a small amount of rust in the front passenger fender (I’ve included a photo of it), the paint and interior are in fair to good condition and the tires have 75% of the tread left. It comes with the original Hurricane 4 engine which is currently not running because we removed the radiator to start the process of replacing the rear main seal but never got it done. It also comes with the original 3-speed manual transmission. For an additional $1,500 I’ll include a Chevy V8 383 stroker and a new turbo 350 hydro transmission with torque converter. Motor includes all accessories: carburetor, alternator, brackets and pully’s. Also take a look at my 1957 Military style Willies Jeep I have for sale as well. (It’s located in Lindon)”
UPDATE **SOLD** Was $500.
There’s value in the rolling chassis (posi front and rear).
“I have a 1957 cj-5 roller with posi front and rear differentials, full cage roll bar, good front clip and a salvageable tub. There is not an engine, transmission or transfer case for this jeep. I do have a seperate turbo 350 advanced adapted to a twin stick dana 18 transfer case. This roller has a 4 inch Rancho Lift and power steering. No title on this jeep.
I have lost interest in this jeep, as I have my heart set on a 69 chevy short bed truck. I will consider all trades for 67′ thru 72′ chevy trucks complete trucks with or with out paper work to trading parts for parts. I need a 68 front clip, bed, or a good running 350,454………. Thank you for looking and will consider parting out, partial trades, or cash, etc..”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $750.
This has a 60/40 seat. And there is a parts jeep included.
“’65 Project Jeep for sale. Tub, clean painted frame, Dana 44 rear end, Dana 25 front end, new Rancho Springs with spring lift. Rare 60/40 bench seats. ’66 parts jeep included. T90 Transmission, & various other parts. Motivated seller:”
It won’t win a beauty contest, but it runs.
“Hello i have for sale a 1962 jeep cj-5 turn on the fuel pump and she runs like a champ needs left front hub work and both front fenders are dented. jeep runs amazing has 4cyl 2 hi 2low 4 hi 4 low and a 2 speed transfer case!! all tires hold air drove it about 20 min during the snow with no problems runs good. brakes actually work!! asking 1000$ obo what ya got?? also up for trades for just about anything!! ANYTHING!! JUST LET ME KNOW 803-223-1122”
Strangely, the seller neglects to mention the gaping divide between the body and the front clip. That aside, there’s plenty of value in the rims, tires and body parts.
“this is not a running jeep….it has a clean fram, nice tires and nice chrome rime. body is ok but floor pans need redone. has mounts in already for g motor. axles are clean as well. front is already converted to disc brakes. windshield is not cracked. NO MOTOR OR TRANNY OR TRASFER CASE. 813-965-3349”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2200.

“1977 Jeep CJ5
Title/VIN #
J7F83AH008763
I am re-listing this Jeep, price is now lower and includes all parts listed!!!
304 V-8.
77,000 original miles on motor
Jeep is complete, but it is still a project. Needs re-wired, and gas lines/tank re-installed.
Minor rust on body, worst spots are on passenger side rocker guard, and under windshield. Frame has some rust spots, but is not broken or bent. Cab floor is solid, rear of tub has some rust on the inside.
I bought this Jeep as a project; I just purchased a new Jeep Wranger JK. Wife says one too many projects around, this is the last one to go. Buying a house this Spring, don’t want to take Jeep with me. First time seller on Craigslist, if it doesn’t sell on here, will advertise Jeep locally. I have all parts to get this project rolling, (extra solid frame, extra vinyl seats, new fuel lines, diamond plating for rocker guards/windshield).
Jeep will come with a new starter (installed). Please help this Jeep find a good home.
Jeep will have to be towed or trailered.
You can hear Jeep start and run, but wiring is a mess.
First $1,000 CASH takes it!!!
Call or text if you are interested. 304-671-3743”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500.

(11/22/2010) I think this has a great old-school feel to it with some practical upgrades.
“Old school custom runs great drives great looks great. I’ve never seen another one like it. The best and most fun Jeep I’ve ever owned. Dauntless V6 with headers and welded mufflers. T90 transmission shifts smooth. Spicer 18 transfer with Warn overdrive. This jeep can go 80 mph or faster. Winch, dual gas tanks, full roll bar, power steering, and power brakes. 918-261-7816.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800
Price is negotiable and it runs. It does have back California taxes. May be a deal.
“1967 Jeep CJ5A— I am moving and I don’t want to haul this to my new home. Help me stop my wife’s nagging! I am going to keep this simple. This is an awesome CJ5A Tuxedo Park Mark IV. In great shape! There we not many of these built. It is mostly original. This is a project that I have stopped working on. I repeat..this is a Project that runs. Here are the negatives:
-It is unregistered. It has Past Due Registration Fees in the range of $305.00.
-It runs but I have not driven it for 2 years.
Here are the positives.
-It is priced to sell. Anyone could turn this vehicle for a profit if they complete the work I have started. I will have this vehicle towed to any Santa Rosa Address at my expense.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4400
(12/04/09) Here’s a relatively low mileage CJ-5. You gotta love the Sears ‘Winch’.
“1961 Jeep Willys CJ5 4×4 2.2 liter, 68,000 Original miles, New Battery and Muffler within last month. New Black top worth $1000 2 years ago, fully tuned up weeks ago, This thing runs like a champ!!! Original Motor & Transmission. This Jeep has been in the family since the mid 60’s. runs and drives good!!! ”
This includes a PTO and snow plow. Looks like a good price. I haven’t see too many of the Bonanza II hardtops.
“I have a ’61 willys jeep that needs some TLC. A project that never got started. It has an inline 4 cyl, manual tranny with hi/low range, pto winch and a snow plow lift(I still have the plow if interested). A little bubble of rust under the driver door, frame looks good. Aftermarket Bonanza II hard top w/ doors. The jeep has been in a shed since purchased in mid 60’s. Call or email with questions. 573-257-0001. Thanks, Jim”
This one cracked me up. The seller notes it is both fully restored AND it needs brake work. So, I’d say this is sort of restored.
“1955 Willys Jeep. Runs great but needs brake work. Fully restored, great to use for hunting, recreation or even to put in a parade. Get a Jeep with history for less than a used ATV! Call 715 302-1364 with questions or to make an offer.”
