UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $650
Here’s a parts jeep.
“This jeep has sat for 2years, fuel pump went bad, needs radiator,it will run,i garantee all 4×4 stuff works, needs restoring we used it for fishing and hunting excellent for that.”
UPDATE: ** SOLD**A reader named Mark purchased this rig.
This seller must sell. There’s some value here. I can’t tell whether it is a CJ-5 or M-38A1.
“This jeep is a 2 owner. My neighbor used it for 50 yrs to plow the Court House but got sick and didn’t have a chance to restore it cause he died . He wanted me to have it but I’ve got to go to Phoenix for a heart surgery myself so I’m forced to sell. We ran a rubber gas line into a gas can and jumped the starter and it fired right up and we drove it home. It needs some TLC but did come with a plow and its a project that can pay for its self. It needs body work. I really would love to keep it and pull it behind my motor-home but cant. I have additional pics if interested. I really don’t want to part it out and would like to know it restored. I haven’t changed the title over cause its the oldest title Ive ever seen. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
This looks in good condition.
“I’m selling my 1960 Jeep CJ-5. It is a 4 cylinder 3 speed stick and has the twin stick transfer case. It runs well, drives well, all the lights work, 4×4 works great, no heater, no radio… New seats, new windshield frame, new 31″ tires, top was replaced a few years ago… very solid Jeep. This is an old Jeep, which means no power steering, no power brakes, it is pretty much a tractor with a top lol. It cruises at 50 mph all day long and thats about top speed for these old beauties. The Jeep is not perfect but is well worth my asking price of $2000 drive it home send me an email or text me at 6o3 995. 9378 Nate”
The engine runs! Looks like it might be a good parts jeep.
“1969 Jeep CJ-5, Dauntless V-6. The motor runs, beyond that I cant say anything such as how strong it is. The Gas tank is not connected, so it only fires up from the fuel line connected to a gas can.
Frame is straight, engine is good.
For $500.00 what do you get?
a vintage 1969 Willys CJ-5 ready for a restore or a rebuild to a crawler. A Dauntless V-6 engine that probably needs some work, but not much. Everything else like tranny, transfer case, hubs etc.. Its a rolling vehicle.
For $500.00 what dont you get?
The rims, they can be “borrowed” to get it transported, but I want the wheels and rims back. The seats. The seats in the pic are not included, nor are the mounting frames, however, I have some 65’ish seat frames/seats that will go with it.”
This might be a nice rig for the price. It looks like someone has added a tilt column.
“runs great good rubber no rust frame is solid”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1700.
This looks like a hunting jeep of some kind.
“1966 CJ Jeep for sale, tires are almost brand new 35 super swampers, has title, runs great, needs some body work but great woods vehicle!! $1700 OBO”
This might be a good price.
“56 Willys CJ5 for sale. Has a Ford 302, twin stick T case and 3 speed manual. 11 inch drum brakes. 31 in Super swampers. Very minor rust on the tailgate and on one hat channel. I have the original wheels to go with it and also a few other parts I never used. Brakes could probably use new pads, but work ok as they are. T case could use a new input shaft seal as it has a small leak like most old Willys. I have the title as well. Open to trades… Let me know what you have. This is a fun little jeep, but I am just ready for something different to mess around with. Any questions let me know. OBO”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
“We have a 1969 Jeep CJ Camper They only made 336 of these I have found on the internet there only a hand ful of them left. they are rare as hens teeth. this a V6 engine with a three speed trans. It needs a complete restoration as you can see from the pics. it is being sold on a Bill of sale only it looks to be about 95% complete we do see it is missing some hub caps/ gear shifter knob/ some camper parts/ It did run when parked any questions please call me my name is Dannon”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200.
This has a winch that’s worth a few hundred all by itself.
“Willys Jeep project, purchased jeep to restore but have way to many projects going on. There is no title!!! You will have to acuire a title yourself. It has been retrofitted with a Ford 351 V8 that will need work, I put on a starter to see if it would turn over but no success. This jeep has alot of potential and with a little blood, sweat and tears this could be a fun project. Come by and take a look, and thanks for looking.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
Can someone explain to me why a PA title would need to be transferred at a messenger service (what is a messenger service)? The engine has been taken apart.
“1965 Jeep CJ-5A
Tuxedo Park Mark IV
This Jeep has been in our family for many years. The mileage is probably not correct but it says 22946. I was in the process of rebuilding the engine and restoring it. I have the head removed and valve/pushrod cover removed. Also various other engine parts have been removed and inspected to get to the engine. I have all the removed parts inside the Jeep. This Jeep has never been rebuilt prior to me working on it. The last time this Jeep ran was sometime in the 90’s. It sat in a garage until 2003. That’s when I brought it home and started working on it. Transmission is a T-90 3 on the tree. Engine is a Hurricane F-134, partly dismantled. I’ve included 24 pics on the site but if you would like more please let me know.
Please forgive me I’ve probably left out a lot of details.
But ask/email and I will answer and send as many specific pics as you would like.
The Jeep is for PICK UP ONLY! near Greencastle Pa. 17225.
The Jeep is near 99% original parts, as it has never been attempted to be restored other that the work that I’ve done on it.”
UPDATE: Still Available
I hope someone can buy and properly restore Les’ Jeep (assuming the documentation confirms it was his jeep). For those that don’t know, Les Schwab bought a tire store in Prineville in 1952 that has become a 330+ store chain here in the west (company history). Not bad for a guy who became an orphan at the age of 15. I didn’t know him, but everything I’ve heard suggests he was a man of his word. According to one reader, he was an early champion of the Formula Desert Dogs. Les passed away in the summer of 2007.
“This jeep was one of Les Schawb’s that he had on his ranch for over 30 years. I have all DMV documentation and current registration”

“1962 Willys CJ-7 for sale. We never get any use of this jeep anymore would love to find someone who would be able to enjoy it. This jeep was my husband’s Grandfathers so its been in the family for sometime. Its runs good just could use a little tune up because we never use it anymore.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8500
“1959 Willys CJ5 Civilian Jeep 3 spd 4WD in excellent condition, with 19,496 orig miles. I have owned this jeep since 1980. In 1982, I restored and painted the body and installed a new clutch, pressure plate, and a throw out bearing. Given the low mileage, all the mechanicals were in excellent condition and still are. A few years ago the exhaust manifold was replaced. For the past 30 years the jeep has been on my farm and just used there occasionally. I purchased the vehicle with a 60 inch snow plow, although was not used to plow snow. It has military tires, as seen in the pictures, as well as a spare (not in the picture.) Three extra new military tires and the snow plow will be included. This jeep has been carefully maintained and stored in a clean, climate controlled shop.’
The driver’s fender is banged up, but I can’t tell much else. It needs a starter at the very least.
“Runs great just needs a starter it can be rebuilt for around $30. Really solid great runing jeep. It’s 4×4 and all original call or text anytime for pics and info. I do have the doors. Might trade for quad dirt bike car ect. 812-606-0515”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000
This cj-5 is a little different.
“1957 willys jeep with plow new tires new paint looks and runs great”
HOG forwarded this. Who thinks up these things? What’s the thought process like? Well, I have this jeep and I have this boat … what to do, what do …. maybe I should install the boat on the jeep frame, but not make it able to float. Brilliant! Whoever did it gets a point for daring to do something really different.
“Who doesn’t want a 4wd JEEP powered 17′ Stick shift Galaxy boat! I wish I had the time to put this thing back on the road myself, but my lack of time and loss of storage is your gain! What I have for sale here is a 1974 Jeep CJ5 with the body cut off and a Galaxy 17′ boat hull attached!
It has been in storage since the early 1980’s. It was really well done! No it’s not amphibious but it is fun and you know there will not be another one at the drive thru or out on the trail! It ran and drove when it was put away but needs some work to go back on the road now. The 258ci strait six Jeep motor turns free and the manual transmission feels ok. The brakes need to be gone thru totally, the master cylinder is missing but is a stock jeep piece and can be bought at any auto parts store, all of the mechanical parts are actually readily available because they are jeep.
Its a fiberglass 17′ Galaxy hull that can be painted or polished back to a shine! I flat towed it from where it was so I know everything spins and turns. Unfortunately THERE IS NO TITLE OR PAPERWORK for it so it will be sold with just a bill of sale for the Jeep vin number. This is 100% as is no warrantee no guarentee!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
Looks good.
“1969 Jeep CJ5 V6 engine, needs work but could be a wonderful classic when fixed up! $1500.00 or will trade”
Looks like a good price given the top and plow and the fact it runs.
“1967 Jeep, 4×4, V-6, 3-Speed Manual Transmission, Runs Great, Original Plow. Leave message at:
(989)550-4744”
No pics provided. 1 runs and 1 doesn’t.
“I have 2 kaiser willys jeeps, 1966 orange jeep, good condition rag top and 2 sets of soft doors. 4 wheel drive works great, winch works great. 3 speed trans great condition. V6 motor runs good. Highway or offroad ready. New seats and new ignition. Jeep number 2 is a 1969 kaiser willys jeep with all the same parts as jeep 1. This jeep can be used for parts or a rebuild. Good motor, trans, front and back plus more. Good tires and wheels. Both jeeps would be really fun to dress up but I don’t have time to use them. All for $3000.”
