UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Has later engine that might run.
“This is a high hood Willys, mostly original with the exception of the engine, which is from a 1964 L head Jeep with the intake valves in head. I am selling this for my brother who has a grand distaste for things digital. He rebuilt the fuel system a few years ago replacing the tank, line, pump, and carburetor. The engine was rebuilt when he installed it and has been driven very infrequently since. When the Jeep was purchased from a seller in Iowa, it had no title. It now has a Washington State title but has not been registered for several years. The odometer reads 38,850. Not sure if it has turned once or twice. After my brother became the owner, he took the Jeep apart to the frame, painting and undercoating it. Unfortunately he had to store it outside, and the Jeep has suffered the Northwest rains. It is running but rust in the fuel tank occasionally clogs the line. It is a good start for a restoration or a hotrod. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000.
Could be a good price.
“This jeep is a beast. I get a lot of respect from people everywhere I go people at red lights will roll down their windows to ask about it and the ladies love it too (; it has a Chevy 307 v8 with a ford manual transmission a warn overdrive and four wheel drive with lowered gear ratios for crawling it has 33 inch tires a lift an on board air compressor all guages work it has a warn winch custom roll cage and bumpers it looks pretty mean. It has speakers as well with an old style radio it’ll do about 40 mph max because its geared so low but it will climb anything I pull stuck trucks out all day. It has a 10 gallon gas tank with two old military cans on the back with 5 gallon capacity each with a spare tire and a fold down rack for a cooler the list of mods on the jeep are endless I have a folder with receipts for all mods oil changes and anything to do with the jeep the engine swap was professionally done and we have paper work on that as well. Come check it out call me or text me if you are interested price is firm oh and it has fog lights on the front and back they light up the night for some late night Jeeping and a Cb radio if you are into that”
UPDATE: Was $2500. **SOLD**
Runs and drives.
“I am selling my 58 willy jeep! We love this thing but have no time for it anymore . I had planned to completely restore it but do not have the time or money to do it . It’s cranks first time every time and runs extremely smooth. Engine has been rebuilt and probably only has about 200 miles on it. It was used as a Deere lease vehicle by a freind of mine. 4×4 works great. I am selling it for what I originally bought it for which a great deal on this thing. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8000
(05/30/2015) Has lots of mods.
“1954 willys cj3b. has been stretched to 92 inches. primarily built to be used in the sand. but has been licensed and insured for the last 15 years that i have had it. engine started as a mid 60’s ford 428 cu in……..as found in the kr500 shelbly mustangs. i took it down to bare block and built it to 435 inches with, 10.5 comp, aluminum edebrock heads, gear drive, comp solid cam, aluminum roller rockers, edel..broc performer intake etc. ended up with 500 hp. the trans is a built to the hilt c6 auto with b and m holeshot 2400 stall converter.
Doesn’t run at the moment.
“I have a 1964 Jeep Willy’s CJ3B for sale. It is in decent condition for its age. It does need some TLC. It has been in storage for the last 2 years, engine turns over but will not start. I believe the fuel pump needs to be rebuilt or replaced. Prior to it being put in storage it ran fine. a new fuel pump and replace the brake lines and it should be rolling. This would be a great farm/hunting vehicle or project vehicle.
Has all cab panels but is probably missing some mounting hardware. I have a new gas tank that just needs to be installed. Also have original wheels. Heat and 4 wheel drive works.”

Roy Wililams shared some photos of his jeeps. The first two photos show the lightweight bobcat body Fred Weis built for Roy, the first lightweight racing Bobcat body Fred made.
Here’s a look at Roy and his racer. Great photo!:
This photo of Roy racing his jeep I found in a 1976 Sunfair booklet. The Sunfair was a 300 mile race near Yakima, Washington, that was first held in 1975. In 1976, Drivers met on Saturday, September 11, at 9am for tech inspection. At 10pm the drivers gathered to parade through downtown Yakima on their way to the course. Racing started at noon. Racers drove either 10 or 12 laps depending on their class. Based on the map below, it appears each lap was 23 miles.
This is a CJ-3B Roy used to own:
Roy recently purchased this CJ-5. I’m looking forward to seeing it and meeting Roy in person!
Engine is blown.
“I have a great 59 cj3b jeep also known as a high hood. Not a great candidate for a perfect restoration but would be great for a hunting jeep or off road rig. Motor blew and po removed it and the radiator. The rest is complete. In the last few years a new gas tank and guage cluster was installed along with a few other parts. Body is pretty good but not rust free. Front floors are solid rear mda attention. Body is cracked by spare tire. All tires hold air. I was gonna put in a Buick 225 to replace he factory 4cyl but need to spend the time on my business. Currently loaded on my trailer and I can deliver for a fee or if close we can work something out. I have a bill of sale from the po and am willing to provide one myself. ”
