“1954 Jeep CJ3B. Has rebuilt F-head 4cyl. engine,(Jeep used this engine from 53′-65′), T90 3 spd. trans. Has been a restoration project that I never seem to find the time to finish,(summers are too short in Vt.!)Have replaced brake lines, shoes, wheel cylinders, also have replaced fuel tank, fuel pump, radiator, and waterpump. Rebuilt the carb, but, probably needs to be gone through again. Haven’t had running in over a year. Electrical system was converted from 6volt to 12 volt before I got it. Top is in bad shape but,new ones are still available.
Frame and body look to be original.Body is rusty, but, I’ve seen worse, many replacement body panels are available from various vendors. Needs body work to make roadworthy, but you could use it as it is in the woods. Don’t have to worry about denting a fender or scraping branches or brush like you would on a new Roxxor that you paid $18k for. Look at the patina on this ol-girl! These old Jeeps are geared so low that they are best suited for back country roads, off roading or as a utility vehicle. Simple to work on compared to newer Jeeps or SXS. No title as Vt. doesn’t title vehicles over 15 yrs. old.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $14,900.
Looks in good condition.
“Fun, 62 Jeep Willy. 289 engine, manual trans with overdrive.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
This appears to be a CJ-3b with the rear of a GPW attached.
“Vintage 48-53 Willys Jeep CJ. Barn find. Original drivetrain (F134 Hurricane engine, T90 transmission, Dana 18 transfer case, Dana 25 front, Dana 44 rearend). Custom pusher, rollcage. Converted to 12 volt system. Brought it home as a project but wife is not cool with her car left out in the rain while the jeep is in the garage. I have not tried to start it yet as I only have weekends to tinker with it. The only thing I’ve had time to do is clean out the debris and do some research on Willys. Great rare find with lots of potential for the right person. $1500. Not interested in any trades at this time.”
