Seth says he could take a look if anyone is interested. Below is the ad’s text. He spotted it on a FB Group page.
“If you’ve ever wanted a Jeep here is your chance. It was fully rebuilt and running like a champ. Then lost in a bet and sadly sat for a while. I picked it up with dreams of making it a beast. I have realized that I don’t have the time to make it what I want. It needs a gear head to crank on it and it will run like a champ. I will take $1000 cash or we can make a deal.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(01/21/2017) Looks like a good price.

(11/10/2016) “Might consider trading off my 54 CJ3B. I’m not desperate to get rid of it, just testing the waters.
Front lockers
Rebuilt motor (F-134)
Current registration
Clean title
New brakes
Heater recored
Not much rust
Gas tank rust treated and sealed.
Front tow bar
Rear set up for towing.
5.38 gearing

Leak at exhaust manifold
Will need tires soon.
Leaky rear axle seal (might fix soon)
It has its ups and downs but keep in mind it is from 1954. No, it won’t do 60 mph.
Considering trading for a bigger 4×4. (Or even a Jeep with a top!)”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $650.
(01/17/2017) There looks to be $650 here.
“I have a 1962 CJ3B for sale. The vehicle was to be a restoration candidate. Diving in to it, it is most likely best suited as a parts vehicle or custom vehicle. The mechanicals components seem to be in relative good shape but the tin, frame, and aesthetics are sub-par.
I have dismantled the vehicle completely (main components). Sub assemblies have been partially dismantled (transmission dis-assembled, engine ancillaries and head removed). Despite being dismantled, it is all there. What I have seen of the gears I have seen, they seem to be in pretty good shape.
The bad:
– The body is in rough shape. There might be some salvageable panels.
– The frame is in rough shape. The front end and cross member will need redone. The back half of the frame is ok.
– No seats or frames.
– No steering wheel but I will include one with the sale (not original)
– Never heard the engine run.
