Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (12/10/2010) Runs and has a PTO. This might be a good price. Check to make sure this has a title, as this looks like a CJ-3B for sale in November that didn’t have a title.

Check out the Serial Number Tag. Seriously? The seller can’t spend 30 seconds to google “cj2a” and verify what they own? (and expect someone else to spend $5500)? Seriously?

“I have a 1954 CJ3B jeep for sale. It is in parts, not a running jeep. Does not include motor, trans, or transfer case. I have two frames, the stock frame and a 1992 YJ rolling frame that I was going to install under this jeep. The body is not too bad, it has some rust through on the floor under the gas tank, it’s not very bad and very much so repairable. This would make a fun rebuild/restoration project or a parts jeep.”

Used it the last big snow storm, works great and good for those hard to get into places because its small. (12/06/2010) It’s a 53 with a 63 title, the reasons for that isn’t explained.

This looks like a parts Jeep (post 1956 CJ-3B). This has a solid back. I’m assuming that is filled in, but the joint marks aren’t too obvious.

Located down in Miami, Fl, and formerly located at the Trump International Beach and Hotel, the Dezer Museum became a public museum in 2010. It is now housed in a 250,000 square foot complex that showcases a collection of 600 cars, thousands of memorabilia items, a food court, shopping and more.
The collection currently has two jeeps. One is a 1951 M-38 (which can be bought for $20,000) and a CJ-3B (which they have incorrectly listed as a 1951 and is for sale for $25,000)
