“1962 Willys Jeep Universal CJ3B, was running when parked 2 years ago. Engine is free, starter disengages before it can crank. Gas tank rusted, was running on auxillary tank. Front half solid and fairly rust free, back half really rusty and floorboards rusted out. Gears shift into position. The frame has an angle iron reinforcement welded to the frame bottom under the driver’s area. The windshield frame, hood, front cowling, fenders and grill are in nice condition for a Jeep this age. The bad rust out is in the rear tub and under the seat areas. The seat pictured DOES NOT COME WITH IT, NO SEATS. USED AS IS. No title, bill of sale only. Located 10 miles south of Oxford Mississippi, aprox. 1.5 hours south of Memphis TN”

This sounds pretty solid. The seller notes in a comment, “This jeep is about 99% rust free original condition. There is a very small place in the floor under the tool box. The hat channels are free of rust. The bolt holes for the tire hanger were skimed over.”
“This is a 1963 Willys CJ3B Jeep in excellent condition for a jeep of it’s age. It is stock except for the steering wheel and tail lights. It has the 4 cyl F-134 engine and 3 speed trans with Hi and low 4wd. You don’t find many of these jeeps in this condition. It has only 30258 miles on a working speedometer. This jeep comes with a set of original GoodYear Suburbanite 760×15 Super Cushion tires, this is the same tires that were available from the factory on these jeeps.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Sounds like a good rig. It smokes a little.
“This is a great old Willys CJ3b that I found and restored about 4 years ago. I found the Willys locally here in Anaheim CA, It was used mainly as a family camping rig through the 60s and 70s, it had been sitting in the side yard of a house in Anaheim for many years. Basically no rust to speak of. The body is really straight and clean origianal metal. I started with the mechanicals and rebuilt the brakes, the carb, new gas tank, new electric fuel pump, new ignition.. etc. I added a quart of oil and the ole OHC engine came right up! It starts and runs great, it smokes some on initial start/choke. Smokes a little under load. but performs perfect for my needs. The snow plow was an old Ebay item of hunk of metal rust that I shipped to CA from back East. I blasted and painted like new, and realized I had original serial # 150 Western Snow Plow! I spoke with a retired Western Engineer and he remember those first plows to come off the line, basically all hand built. that was fun talking to him. I spoke with current Western engineers, and they helped me engineer the upgrades to the plow. It now has full Hydrualics up/down and swivel. all new components and works great. The 1955 hard top was found in Sacramento CA and was blasted and painted with the body in 2008. Only surface rust, no major repairs required. I never finished installing windows in the top. I have the doors, but never finished restoring the rollup windows. The rig has a unique “Tuxedo” trim package front chrome bumper that is very cool. It has an original 1960s Smittlybuilt full cage. I installed new Bestop lowback front seats. I have the original heater parts, but never put it back in. I have used the Willys the last four years pushing snow around my cabin in Big Bear Lake, CA. Never had any issues with it. It always starts, and runs strong. It has origianl 60s mag wheels and four new all terain tires with chains. The rig has been garaged the last four years, only driven during the winter to push snow around the driveway and access roads. I usually keep it in 4-low, but I have occassionaly put in high gear to tootle around the neighborhood during the summer. it always turns heads and makes people smile. I would not recommend as a daily driver, but rather as a collectable conversation peice, and as a hell of a little work horse plow for a small property like mine. I had thoughts of going through the motor/rings to eleviate the smoking. but it runs so well, I never did it. I have had a great time with this rig, but it is time for me to move on to a new project. I know there are Jeep/Willys affectionados out there that will appreciate this little rig as much as me. Please let me know of any questions about it you may have. Really nice straight body/top. All metal . all original. I’m a big guy, and I did re-locate the driver seat back a few inches. other than that, she’s a stocker!”
It runs and includes the trailer.
“This is a 1954 Willy’s jeeb CJ3B that is mostly all stock. It has 76000 miles. This is a project and need work. The engine runs good and the transfer case all works. I would be willing to trade for an older VW Baja Bug. Call Joe with any questions at 509-990-0939. Thanks!”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $800.
It is a project, but there may be some value here, especially if the engine starts after being wired correctly. There is also a parts CJ-3B for sale, too.
“I have a 1953 willys jeep here I was working on it for about a month and decided that I wasn’t one of the best people to work on it. The engine turns over but it doesnt start because I didnt have all the electrical hooked up. The transmission shifts into 1st and reverse but not 3rd or 2nd. The transfer case will need work to have the rear drive line put on but it shifts into high and low and in and out of 4wd. It comes with two brand new seats that were redone. The windsheild has a chunk missing out of it.”

New brake shoes, springs, and all four wheel cylinders are new. Body tub is off of the chassis right now. Good windshield frame. Body tub is decent, little rust, not bad. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $11,000.
“Howdy Folks, Up for sale is my 1953 Willys CJ3B. It has original sheet metal and no rust. I restored it about 8 years ago. Everything was either rebuilt or replaced then. It has traveled about 2,500 miles since then. My wife and I trailered it behind our RV on our honeymoon. So this jeep has seen SanFrancisco, Meer Woods, The Bad Lands, Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, Napa Valley, and Senoma and much more. So its been around. It has a few chips and bumps, however still shows very well and gets allot of attention. It even won best jeep at the very popular ST. Marys annual car show. Beautiful trophy.
It is powered by an F head four cylinder and an manual 3 speed. It is a 4X4 with high and low range. It has been updated with an Motorola alternator, converted to 12 volts, and a solex carb. It has military ND tires that actually drive very well and wear very well. It runs just great and is fun to drive. It is painted Caterpillar yellow and battle ship grey. I would be willing to repaint it any solid color with a single stage urathane enamel for an additional $1,200. This would include everything but the frame and engine compartment. I also have US government olive drab. You may call me at five three seven one nine eight seven or email me.
I am asking $11,000. It is located in Holland NY near East Aurora. Email me for an appointment for viewing. And if weather permits a drive. I am not interested in trades, or consignments. In the photo you may see the exhaust strap broken, It has been replaced.”
