Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (03/04/2018) This has a lift and a replacement body, among other mods.
“1953 Willy’s CJ3B, small block ford, T18 transmission, Dana 20 twin stick transfer case, Dana 44 front and rear with power locks 427 gears runs good the transmission is starting to whine but shifts though all the gears fine. No winch. Extra diamond plated half doors, bikini top 2 new front shocks. Over all in good shape.”
This has a 3B body, but the frame horns of a 2A. Probably a ’48 with a 3B body.

“The motor is a 1962 Chevy V-8 283. There are rust areas and the paint is faded. The drive train (other than the engine) is all stock and original. Three shifting levers: Lock in -Lock out, High-Low range, and three speed tranny with OD. Comes with an extra set of tires and rims and other Misc parts. It does have a tow-bar as well. Come have a look.
This Jeep has been in my Family for 40 years so I want to see her go to someone who is going to restore her-not trash her. ”

“350 Corvette engine. 4-speed manual. 4WD. Front locker. New BFG all terrains. Garage kept for most of its life. Paint still looks brand new. Has a bikini top and soft top. Front bucket seats, rear bench. Tow bar.
A really nice jeep in its heyday but has been sitting for 15-ish years. I had it running and drove around the block about 1 year ago but has been sitting since. It does need some work as reflected in the price (fully updated and driveable Jeeps like this go for $14,000+). Built by my uncle before 4wheelparts existed so you will have to spec parts on your own.
Needed immediately: front and rear leaf springs (flattened out), bump stops, and maybe shocks. Drum brakes need a good flush and bleed. Will take a little go-juice for the carb to get her running but then she purrs.

“1966 jeep willys. Big project jeep. Everything should be there except the actual tub. Has a nice set of hard doors and a hard top. I have the grill and windshield frame also. I also have the title. I bought it for a project and will probably never get to it. Has the 4 cylinder, 3 speed trans and twin stick transferscase. There are boxes and boxes of parts under the top. Looking to get 1250 or best offer. Could be a really unique jeep when finished. Emmett mi 48022 might trade throw me some offers. Shop equipment, other old project cars, guy stuff.
