I bought this as a project and I got it stripped down and it got forgot about in the barn. I DO NOT have the tub for it. I DO NOT have the title but I have the original name plate. “I have a Willys project for you!
It is either up for sale or trade.
Call or text with questions or an offer.
I am intersted in all things that have a motor.”
It runs and drives and is a mish mash of parts. You don’t often see a CJ-2A windshield on a CJ-3B body. And that hood, what’s up with it? It’s just wrong.
“1947 willys jeep the title says cj2….flat 4 cyl twin stick transfer case 4 speed starts runs and drives and stops and the stock tires even hold air….the tub is pretty rough and has been plated and welded ….the lights and signals work….clean title and a tub of extra parts and a service manual is a running project 1700”

Looks like a solid CJ-3B.
“fter much thought and prayer I’ve decided to put my Jeep up for sale.I’m the third owner and have known this Jeep since new.It belonged to my Uncle’s neighbor,he bought it new,he was old in the 70’s when I was kid.I lost track of it for a while, but it turned out didn’t go to far and i got to buy it. I’ve owned it fifteen years and had lots and lots of fun in it. Hunting trips, trips to Colorado 4 wheeling in the mountains in SE Ok. but I’m going to sell it and use the money for my buisness. This Jeep is mostly all original except for a new correct Carter YF carb, headlight switch, dimmer switch and a few things like that.Has a fairly new set of 700×15 mud and snows, probally not more than 3000 miles on them. Had just very, very little rust under the gas tank that was fixed when painted, been in Ok. all its life and kept inside a lot of the time. I put new brake shoes on it 4 or 5 years ago.I would not afraid to drive this Jeep anywhere,it has failed to start one time in fifteen years,I let the battery go dead.It has been dependable, dependable. Drive it as far as you can on a back road and shut it off,it will start when you get back. It roads out really well for an old Jeep it will run 55 down the highway pretty easy,I’ve took a lot of twenty five mile hi-way trips in it. . . ”
I’ve never seen the side of a CJ-3B modded quite that.
“Im selling my 1953 Willys cj3b for 2500 firm repainted, new clutch kit installed, needs clutch linkage, some wiring, and gas tank, redid fenders and wheel wells, new rear bumper missing tailgate if you are interested call or text mike at 860 806 5301 if you wanna see pictures text me i have pictures of it.”

Here a CJ-3B with an unusual dash and steering wheel design. It’s got kind of an antique feel that I find interesting. It was photographed and posted by RUD66.
