Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This late edition CJ3B came from the Colorado Rockies several years back and has been my Driver / Workhorse. The body shows some rust but is usable as it is. The F-Head engine runs well, Jeep drives nicely, Koenig PTO Winch works well except no free spool, Exhaust needs repair from NH Trail Ride glacial obstacles.(Google it!) Has rear seat, roll bar, CB radio, extra gas tank, Bicycle Rack, tow bar and nice tires. Two tops are included, a full Best Top and a sun shade.”
Has had the rear floor replaced or covered. Has a variety of new parts.

“I am the second Owner.
When I purchased the Jeep from the original owner, I wanted to keep it as original as possible, yet make it mechanically sound. Garage kept.
Below is a list of the work I have done since I purchased the jeep. It has no body rust. I chose to keep the paint original except for the interior metal.
*Rebuilt F-134 engine.
*Rewired the 6 volt electrical system.
*Replaced radiator
*Resealed T-90 transmission
*Upgraded brakes to disc on the front and rebuilt the rear brakes. New master cylinder.
*New front hubs.
*New leaf springs – front and rear.
*New shocks.
*New tires.
*New seat upholstery.
*New dash gauges.
*Rebuilt carburetor.
*New hoses and belts.
*New battery.”

Seller also has another CJ-2A and a 1964 CJ-3B for sale (see bottom pic)
“For sale is a 1947 Willys Jeep CJ2A. This Jeep came from the state of Wyoming and is probably the nicest original CJ2A you will find. The body condition is in incredible. The only rust is a small portion of a hat channel under the driver seat. I got it running the other day and runs great with no smoke. This Jeep has everything on it that came from the factory. What you see is the original red paint. This would be the perfect Jeep to restore as it is very complete. I also have another CJ2A and a 1964 CJ3B that is in very good condition for sale. All have titles.”
The green CJ-2A and blue CJ-3B are also for sale. No prices listed.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7800.
(08/08/2018) This vintage jeep has a variety of extras: A PTO winch, a Koenig hardtop, a center seat (Dumas)?, a rear seat, and some Free Lock hubs!
“This jeep is all original and unmolested. It was last licensed 30 years ago, but it runs and drives great. It does need some brake work. It has a PTO winch and a Koenig hard top. It has 44k miles. Has a rare Willy’s heater under the dash. It has a tow bar on the front and a spare tire on the side. The tires are in great condition and are on original 16″ wheels. We rebuilt the carb and radiator as well as putting new oil filter lines on it.”
