“Willys Jeep CJ2A, rebuilt GM 2.8 V6 with paper work, original T90 3 speed transmission and Dana 18 transfer case. Body was recently removed and all rust repaired. Rebuilt brake system with new master and slave cylinder. (Stops very well) All electrical has been rewired. Rebuilt steering box, full roll cage, rear seat, winch, tow bar, and good tires.”
It needs some work.

“This is a 1950 Willy’s Jeep CJ-3A barn find – kind of… This Jeep has been in storage about 10 years, other than the wheels, seats and roll-bar, as far as I can tell is stock and runs. The Jeep has been in the family for several decades and was used almost exclusively as a trail vehicle for hunting – long before today’s side-by-sides became popular. I inherited it in 2020 but is now in my garage. While it does run, when engaging the clutch, a knock occurs and the clutch does not engage so the Jeep is in Neutral until fixed. All linkage moves, but nothing happens but the knock.
Other than checking fluids and purging the fuel line before starting it about a month ago, nothing else has been done. It also comes with a complete spare rear axle as seen in the pictures. No idea why the axle was with the Jeep, no reason to believe that the stock one is in need of repair, but it was with the Jeep in storage. While I’d love to take a crack at the clutch, I know it will likely take a bit more to become road worthy, I just don’t have the passion and knowledge necessary to do this Jeep justice. Here’s where you come in… Clean Title and current non-op registration.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $6900.
(12/11/2021) No mention as to whether the plow is included.

It seems to me that the driver-side opening is cut down a bit, as if someone had tried to replicate a prototype jeep?

“Selling my 1950 Willys CJ3A. Mostly all original! 134 flat head engine and all drivetrain are original. New leaf springs provide a little bit of lift over original height. I’ve been working on this for a few years and just don’t have the time to finish this. This does run and is drivable but it’s been garaged the past few years and maintained. Plenty of new parts already installed and more parts waiting to be installed.
New parts include: leaf springs, shocks, BFG mud terrain tires, water pump, carburetor, spark plugs and wires, all new brakes (wheel cylinders, lines, master cyl), engine and drivetrain fluids/lubricants, and various other parts like gaskets and windshield seal when those are ready for installation.
Fenders, grill, hood, windshield frame and tailgate were all media blasted and primed. Have been working on the typical body problems found with these old Willys.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(11/30/2020) This appears to be a CJ-3A with a replacement tub, but hard to tell for sure given the pics.

“1951 willys Jeep. Have 90% of the parts. There is not rot on it at all it has been in a garage all it’s life. Motors all there needs to be gone through before running it. I have the front seats they will need to be re covers but there not bad. Has big tires on it solid front a rear axles. Not in a rush to sell it but I’m also not giving it away. Yes it needs work but you won’t find one in this good of condition in ct. has a new body on it an I have the receipt. Will trade for a tractor with a bucket an a 3 point hitch attachment”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(11/16/2020) Given the price, there might be value here.

“1950 Willy’s CJ3A. This would be great for either a restoration project or parts! Have the L-head motor out of it that would need to be gone through and put in to make it original. Also have most of an F-head motor went into the following Willy’s models. Drivetrain is all in place. Probably easiest to get a new tub as the floor is in pretty rough shape. Most body parts are included and all gauges in place. Have windshield (needs new glass), a heater.
Missing seat frames and does not have original rims. Would need some new tires as current don’t hold air very long (long enough to get onto a trailer though). It all goes together and not looking to sell individual parts unless you’re going to pay the asking price of it complete for just the parts you want. No Title. PM with questions, more pics, or to come look at. I just ask you be serious if you would like to schedule a time to look at. Thank you.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
(01/05/2021) Roger Martin shared this plow jeep. It’s got a CJ-5 hardtop and what looks to be a DJ windshield.
“Willys cj2a or 3a repowered with buick dauntless v6. Runs and drives. 4×4 works. Dualamatic locking hubs. Heated cab. Plow works. Be a good build project. Have extra parts available.”
Runs and drives, but has a rough body. Also has some EasyLok hubs.

“Due to overwhelming messages. Here is some clarification. You will need a trailer. Engine will run but needs rebuilt. Body is rough. Frame is good. Have clear Texas title. All original parts in place. No it is not a daily driver. It is 1949 willys Cj-3a. Has windshield and frame. Has 134 go-devil flat head. Body is rough. Running gear complete. Clear willys title. Has original 16 inch wheels.”
