Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1951 Jeep CJ-3A. Great little jeep!Total engine rebuild, rebuilt starter, and clutch replaced 300 miles ago have paper work. The tub is in pretty good condition but has a little rust. Cool jeep just doesn’t get enough use.”

Doesn’t run. Rust mostly on the surface.
“Perfect Project Vehicle CJ3A doesn’t run, has WW2 Ford grill, pretty much all the parts are there, rust is mostly surface rust the worst spot on the whole thing is the tailgate. Could turn into a great project for someone. $3000 obo, I WILL NOT HAGGLE VIA TEXT.”
Recently, this was rebuilt, tough a few updates were included. The area above the from step looks odd. I can’t tell what’s going on there.

“1950 Willy Jeep!! Why spend 20k on a ranger! This is 4 wheel drive and everything. Recent work done includes, plugs, wires, front brakes, fuel pump, water pump, air filter housing. Lights work, fold down windshield. Lock out 4 wheel drive. 3 speed tranny. All fluids changed. Solid jeep. I believe there is no rust on this tub. Hard to find around here also !!”

“A 1952 4WD Willys Jeep CJ3a. Nice “Elvis” inspired paint job. Body, frame, and floors all excellent. 4 cyl, 3 speed, Goodyear tires, chrome wheels, lockout hubs, good brakes, good clutch, rollbar. Former farm vehicle comes with original VIN plate and Bill of Sale. Too old for Title.”

“It is a 1952 Willys Jeep that has been used for deer hunting since 1978 when my father
bought it. There is no title, he never transferred it when he bought it and
now has lost the documents. The jeep has some rust spots as you can see in
the pictures. My dad added 4 gun mounts on it. He replaced the engine in
about 1980. The engine runs well.”
Not sure how much value is here.
