UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200.
I would not advise a buyer to buy this thinking he or she can make “big money” on it, which is what the seller states. This is listed as a 1950 and appears to be a DJ-3A Body (1956 or 1957 based on the speedo) that’s likely on a CJ-3A chassis.
“1950 DJ MILITARY KOREAN 4X4 CHASIS. FLAT FENDER WILLYS COMES WITH AND EXTRA FRONT DIFFERENTIAL. 235 V6 ENGINE WITH BELL HOUSING ADAPTER TO FIT ORIGINAL TRANNY. DOES NOT RUN BUT THIS IS THE PROJECT TO MAKE SOME BIG MONEY”
UPDATE: Still Available. This is only for the body and parts.
(01/20/2020) The body includes additional parts.

Here’s what it looks like when was together.
This is how the chassis looks:
“Hi I have stainless steel CJ3A body for sale complete including windshield and Omni wipers installed with 12v wiring included. I believe I bought Del@OMC last CJ3A from him in Oregon a few years ago before he passed away (rip).
Del owned the factory in the Philippines where they were made and exported to U.S. Great construction his bodies will probably out-last you and I!:) I built it for a EV prototype for a classics EV startup but all future models will use aluminum body out of Canada BC (stretched ~ 1 foot for more legroom up front) so no longer need this body. It’s just been a demo vehicle max 50 miles on it it’s like new see pics (does has vinyl EV stickers on hood those should heat gun off I haven’t bothered yet don’t have the time))”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
(08/01/2020) Mark shared this one. Runs, but body is rough.
“Rebuilt hurricane motor 4cylinder 1000 miles, new carb,3speed,manual transmission, clear title, this is a project Jeep that can be restored it needs a new tub&frame cleaned up but you got a good motor & transm, now Jeep is good to run around now it just needs tail lights-headlights work, it just depends what you want.i bought it from a family in Weaverville Nc they had it for years road it around the mountains.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(08/01/2020) The principal item is a CJ-3A, but there’s other items here, too.
https://binghamton.craigslist.org/for/d/castle-creek-willys-jeep-lot/7167552318.html
“CJ2 1950 Willy’s Jeep with the following:
. snow plow
. back seat
. original wind shield
. aluminum top
. 16″ bottom land plow with front weight
. complete spare parts jeep
. chassis frame with all running gear
. 10 kw generator powered by willy’s jeep engine
I am the second owner and have had it since 1976. The first owner was my neighbor so I know the complete history. In 1976 I had 90% of the body rebuilt along with an engine overhaul. I used it in the woods so got banged up a little , for years now only for plowing snow. In good mechanical shape burns no oil. Seems this would be a good lot for someone that would refurbish back to original condition or just use as is around your homestead.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(07/16/2020) Not sure how much value is here.

“1942 Jeep Willys Custom truck. Chevy 350 engine not currently running but I’m sure it wouldn’t take much to get going. Message me any questions. Got something to trade? Send it to me ”
Appears solid, though missing some detail parts.

“1953 Willys CJ3A Jeep, Great piece of America history, gets lots of looks, cranks right up, I have lots of parts, canvas top, oil bath air filter, and seals. Now for the bad, has leaks like all old vehicles and will maybe go 55mph with a strong back wind, not made for speed but will go off road like a beast”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $6700. It’s a Szekely APU jeep.
(09/30/2018) Carl and Marty spotted this APU. It appears to be missing the extra gauges, but does have the original data plates, the hood, and the correct engine. The soft top seems to be a Dualmatic, as it has the large square rear window and the two-part doors with snaps (thanks Pascal!).

“Willys CJ2a. Believe it’s a 1950 but not a 100%. No motor, trans, transfercase or driveshafts. It’s rough but original. No title or VIN tags. Want it gone. $500 OBO”
Seller is having trouble getting this started.
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/4097279573675539/
“Almost all original. From West Colorado, very minimal rust for 70 years old.
It ran when I bought it, and it ran a few months ago, before I changed the carburetor with the correct aftermarket carb from Kaiser Willys. I can’t get it to start, I think the starter is bad.
It’s not road ready, it’s a project still, but it’s not far away, depending how original you want to keep it.
A LOT has been done to this Jeep, thousands of dollars spent. My loss, your gain, selling it, because planning a big move.
What’s not original:
Carburetor
Alternator (converted to 12 volts)
Seat frames (fabricated professionally)
The body’s floor (replaced with steel plate and steel channels by a professional fabrication shop)
Windshield is new safety glass
**it comes with the rare heater option “

“Sand dune, mud toy, small block Chevy, turbo400 with trans brake, np205 transfer case. It’s been sitting in the garage for a long time. I have lost interest in it. It needs the steering finished and a brake job. It’s four linked front and back. It runs and was a blast to drive. Took it apart several years ago to upgrade to hydraulic steering and never finished it. $5000 cash or may consider a trade. Titled as 84 CJ 7. Message me for more details. MSD Crower Brodix Coan TCI Hurst Barry Grant Fox Racing shocks Boggers Dertroit locker”
Includes an overdrive.

“I am selling a great piece of American history here. Brand new steel m38 body. Frame off restoration. Flat 4 cylinder bored 30 over. Purrs like a kitten and cranks like a brand new one. Custom made bumpers and the whole body has a freshly done vinyl wrap. This is a nice jeep! Jeep has not seen mud in 25 years and the body never has. Brand New windshield too.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $13,000.
This has a replacement body.
“Older restoration, good running and very sweet to look at
Can send videos of it in action if seriously interested”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.
This might have a DJ-3A Convertible body on a CJ chassis. While the dash is missing the large speedo, a gauge plate has been installed over that area of the dash. There’s no fuel inlet on the side, but Steve spotted the one in the rear (I missed it). It’s got the correct style of VIN tag to be a DJ-3A.
“Jeep tub has motor tranny axles wheels as in pic
have to be honest not sure if cj1-cj3 which?”
Very much a project. Pinto is a great engine for a jeep, but in my opinion I’d go with the 2.3 for the extra power.

“All there except carb(I’d get a Weber) and rear driveshaft. Ford ts 1.6. (Pinto engine super nice in these!!)The clutch and adapter kit are all new. Clear nonop title in my name.”
