This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. sm465 4 speed np205 transfer case, Toyota axles. Everything is in great working order, Heater works great along with wiper motor.
This Jeep needs nothing. Even has 4 heavy duty cup holders.”
Listed as a CJ-3A, it has a 2A windshield, so may actually be a 2A.

Craig spotted this one. There’s some jeep underneath. If it is really a ’53, it must be a CJ-3A or 3B. An M-38A1 would have the front springs reversed.

Seller describes it as an M-38 clone.
“Rare year, M38 clone, jeep is in nice shape for the year. This is a project that should be an easy fix for someone willing to take the time. Started frame off restoration, frame was painted, no rust and bumpers have also been straightened. T90 transmission will bolt up to a V8. I will include the two motors i have with it (134 Hurricane and Flathead 4 go’ devil) and a lot of extra parts. The jeep needs to be wired for 12 v. I have all the motor parts from when it was 6 v included. Jeep tub is in really nice shape and sheet metal is straight. This jeep is titled in WI in my name. Serious offers will be considered.
