This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Selling 1953 jeep cj2a. Put battery on it just to see if it turns over and it does. Make a good project for somebody. Took driver seat out and put it in barn so dogs wouldn’t tear it up. Also pulled gas tank off.”

This militarized 3A has been saved with a few patches. Looks solid.

Just pulled from a barn. Unsure if it will run.
“This is a 1952 Willy’s CJ-3A Jeep serial number 452- GB1 31628…. Has had some work done on it in the past, but still needs more.. Motor and drive train are complete and are original to the Jeep….. Not sure if it runs or not pulled it from a Barn in South Carolina…Body is rusty frame is good and solid with surface rust only….. Good starting point for restoration or use it for parts….
