Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Project CJ3A for sale. Purchased 3 years ago and have restored it a long way from what it was. Still not road ready, but runs very well and brake system completely redone.
Wheels & tires purchased new in 2015 and have <100 total miles on them. Only have ever driven this Jeep up and down my private road.

UPDATE **SOLD** Was $4600.
This might have dry gauze air filter on it.
“Very clean Willy’s Jeep with rattle can olive drab paint job. Runs very good and everything works. Has a bimini top, gas can, rear seat, seat belts, and power steering! Previous owner installed power steering and upgraded the motor to a ’53. Diamond plating in the back seat area and a winch. Odometer says 6830, but surely that isn’t accurate.”
Looks in good shape, but isn’t original nor likely military (maybe a gov plate on it).

“Willy’s Jeep for sale. Purchase this Jeep and take it out off-roading immediately or take some time restoring it to your liking. If you’re looking for a jeep with no scratches, dents, bondo or rust, this isn’t the jeep for you. If you’re looking for a jeep to take out on the trails and not worry about scratching it, or if you’re looking for a restoration project, this is it. This jeep has been upgraded with a Dana 30 open knuckle front differential with a loc-rite locker, Dana 44 rear differential with posi-traction, both have 5:38 gears. The transmission was recently rebuilt and is tight. This jeep has a strong Buick 225 V-6 engine giving it plenty of power for those difficult climbs. It also has power steering and the tires have great tread. I have had the jeep for 20 years and I am just not using it any longer. I also have quite a few spare parts that will go along with the jeep.”
Has some updates. Seller really hasn’t driven this much.
