Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1949 Jeep with spare parts Does not run, no engine, has spare tub, fenders hood, springs, drive shafts, body rough on extra tub and rolling jeep. Can be used as parts or to put back together, have Transmission and transfer case that can be rebuilt with newer synchros and small bearing kits included, not all new bearings are there. This Jeep is not put together. Pictures show it will roll, but tub will have to be loaded separately. I have a Nevada Title that goes with it, but not in my name, it was signed by the previous owner. I will not answer to is it still available, once it is sold, it will be marked as sold and removed”

“Hello, I have a 1952 Willys CJ3A project for sale. I have had it for about 25 years now and don’t see myself finishing it anytime soon. So it’s time for it to move on. I have about $12k into it and it’s still in pieces. I bought the replacement panels and $4k in parts (see lists in photos). I also had engine completely gone through, machined, and professionally rebuilt ($3k) with hardened vavle seat so it is good for todays gas. It has a Dana 44 rear axle, original heater, professionally rebuilt front and rear driveshafts, and quite a few spare parts including a spare transmission and transfer case. I also have a full steel hard top (no side doors) and a half cab/doors. Have clean title too. I also attached a couple photos of when it was together. I would like to get $6k because there is $4k in parts on the lists alone, $3k in the engine, plus everything else. Open to offers/trades especially a for 55’-59’ Chevy/GMC truck driver/solid project. Goose neck livestock trailer w/lvg qrtrs.”

“-Ford 289 v8 (rebuilt less than 500mi ago)
-C3 transmission w/ B&M shifter
-T18 transfer case with warn overdrive
-Tires with less than 1000mi
-Rebuilt carb installed with engine rebuild (could use a tune now that engine is breaking in)
-Electric fan
-Vented hood
-Heater
-Electric wipers
-Soft top was installed about 2 years ago and less than 1000mi. Jeep parked under carport since it was installed
-has rear seat
-Front seats don’t match
Jeep runs and drives but could use a carb tune/ choke adjustment and general check over from sitting. Hasn’t been driven more than 100miles in the last year.
I have many spares including a performance intake manifold, spare engine that needs rebuilt, spare carb that needs cleaned and rebuilt, non matching spare wheel and tire, rear tire rack that’s not mounted.
I thought I would use this in the mountains while camping but have barely driven it in the 3+ years I’ve owned it. It’s time to move on and let someone else enjoy it. Asking $6000 OBO”
