LIke hitch points? This pure utility vehicle has five.
“This is an old willys. With a f head 132 4 cylinder engine. Purrs like a kitten, it has an Enest holmes tow truck winch running off a pto. About 50 feet of frayed cable. 5 hitch points. The winch is rated for 8000 lbs. I can tell you,it will pull more.its a work rig. I used it to pull trees to the landing. Very durable, and fun to putt with. Seeing if there is any interest ,no hurry to sell.Trades considered.”
No engine.
“Cj3a project….no engine, but has great chassis and body rebuilt with thicker metal in the floors. Has hood, and nice straight fenders. No rust on the chassis, springs are good.
If you have a running engine, this can be a great little jeep. The hard work is done, just needs finishing…”

“For Sale I have 2 Willys CJ-2a’s (1946 & 1949). I will sale both as a package deal for $11K ($11,000 takes both) or sale separately. I will happily provide references on the care and maintenance of both antique vehicles. These antique civilian jeeps would make a great Christmas present!!
1946 Willys CJ-2a: Very good – excellent condition, tan in color, tub/metal in good condition, original drivetrain (motor, transmission, front & rear axles), excellent mechanical condition, runs well, over $3.55K invested in new parts/repairs (radiator re-cored, new clutch & brake lines, new electrical wiring and lights, new electric fuel pump and carburetor, new steering column and wheel, new brake drum, to numerous to mention, call for detailed itemized list/have invoices), 4 high/low works, lights work, no rear seat, has an exhaust leak, no heater, custom made towbar, windshield frame is from a CJ-3b not CJ-2a, no title – vehicle registration only
1949 Willys CJ-2a: My father purchased this CJ-2a in the mid 1970’s from a gentlemen in Americus, GA. Dad passed away July 2013 to cancer. He invested a lot of time and money into this antique vehicle. The jeep has been stored inside, never been mistreated, and is in very good – excellent condition overall, green in color, excellent mechanical sound condition, original drivetrain, new fuel pump and rebuilt carburetor, runs and drives well, brakes need to be bled, motor was rebuilt in the mid-late 1970’s/early 80’s, lights, heater and horn works, 4 hi/lo works, aftermarket lock out hubs, has an exhaust leak, custom made towbar, has rear seat, frame and top (from a 1950’s military jeep that was professionally adjusted to fit the frame) which aren’t seen in photos, custom made cover, no title – vehicle registration only, and also have 1 gallon of olive drab paint and red primer I purchased several years ago. ”

UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $7500.
(11/08/2014) Looks like a fun rig.
“The previous owner told me this rig was custom built in the late 1960’s as a no-kidding Sand Dune racer.
It’s incredibly fast! It will hold 65 MPH up Vail Pass on I-70 while barely touching the gas. The v8 motor is very strong, but when you combine it with such a small / light vehicle, it’s just crazy. The motor fires right up and is very strong, doesn’t burn any oil.
I believe it is a reproduction CJ3A steel body and not original Willys. I do have a clear Colorado title in my name. The bottom of the “tophat” channels underneath the tub are rusted, but the actual tub pan itself is very clean, and the frame is clean and solid.
The paint job is probably 20 years old, so is faded but still looks okay. I can’t stop for gas or pull up to a stoplight without someone drooling over it or asking questions.
UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was $5500
(10/14/2014) Looks ready to roll.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5800
“Oldie but goodie. This old willys has been worked on and alot replaced or rebuilt. Two years ago the transmission, transfer case and rearend rebuilt. The wiring was shot so I put in complete new harness. The steering box was rebuilt along with all new brakes, wheel cyclinders and new master cyclinder. The 5 tires are new with low mileage. The top was new two years ago. The doors come off and the sides roll up. The suspension, leafs and shocks are new. Starts every time and has a tow bar on front for towing long distance. If you want a dependable and go anywhere Willys, this is the one you would want. Will consider all reasonable offers or would trade for Manx, VW, in good running condition.”
