Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This was a project of mine and started fixing her up but lost interest due to other projects and space. It runs and drives but the engine started knocking after I initially changed the engine oil. Its either a push rod or even a rod pin could be bad. The oil was like tar when I drained it. I have already redone the entire cooling system including Radiator refurbished and new water pump and hoses along with a new Fuel Pump. Frame is Solid and Drivetrain is excellent. I am firm on price as that is what I have invested. Not in a rush to sell it, so please understand what firm means. Its the OG Green color. Located in Corunna, MI.. Clean Title”

“There is nothing more rugged then a Willys Jeep, especially a ’50s one with some patina. This 1950’s Willys CJ3A is almost completely original. If you’re into off-roading or just want a beast to drive around, this CJ3A is located in Phoenix, Arizona. I WAS JUST INFORMED THAT THIS IS A VERY RARE CJ. IT WAS MADE FOR THE MARINES IN 1950 AND ONLY 1000 WERE MADE. I AM NOT A CJ EXPERT IN ANY WAY – IM GOING BY THE ADVICE OF SOMEONE WHO IS. THE ENGINE IS ORIGINAL AND RARE. ONCE I HAVE MORE INFORMATION ON THE JEEP — I WILL AD IT TO THE SITE. The CJ3A was the first CJ Jeep to use the L-134 Go-Devil 4-cylinder engine. The 2.2 liter straight-4 produced 75 hp and 114 pounds of torque, which is plenty to pull this bare bones vehicle around.“

“Restored Willys Jeep cj3a. Has a Ford – 289 V8 engine, dual exhaust.
Color is tan, with black seats. Sold as is. Odometer reads 1,300, but that is not correct. Still registered in Oregon where I bought it, but vehicle located in Carlsbad along with “clear” Title.“

“Very nice Willys Jeep. I inherited my Dad’s 46 Willys so I need to sell this one. It has a tilt steering wheel, stainless steel front bumper, new electric wipers, power steering, good motor, transmission and transfer case, Solex carburetor, custom seats, new wheels and tires, new battery (12 Volt system), new springs and shackles, new wiring and alternator, new Best Top. This jeep is in excellent condition.”

(10/10/2013) The entry points of the body have been altered a little.
“1951 willys jeep, 283 sbc,sm 420 four speed,dana 18 transfer case and Warn over drive. New drive lines new u joints,wiring,windshield. New Mickey Thompson mtz 35×12.50r15 Mickey Thompsom classic 15×10 wheels, new four inch sky jacker suspension shocks and leafs. Power steering and front disk brakes. Dana 44 in the rear and Dana 30 in the front. Aluminum radiator, Kenwood stereo,amp and Fozgate speakers, seats redone new carpet. Willys was a total frame off resto. I have maybe 300 hundred miles on it, haven’t even changed the break in oil yet. I’m sure there is stuff I’ve left out, askin 10,000.00 and open to trades what do you have. ”
