“This fantastic jeep is ready for the mountains. I spent 3 years rebuilding this jeep from the frame up. Cleaned and painted frame with por15. In great shape. Pulled body and had it media blasted before replacement panels welded in. Painted in custom mixed blue from Willys paint chip. New wiring and gauges throughout including hand made classic looking wiring harness made to look like original cloth wrapped wiring. Engine runs great and doesn’t smoke. Transmission and transfer case rebuilt using NOS parts. All gears, 4×4 work great. Summer top ready to go.

“This is a 1950 CJ-3A with an L-134 Go-Devil 4 cyl engine, T-90 Transmission and D18 Transfer case. It does not run.
Frame:
Overall excellent. Some rust in spots but no rot or evidence of repair.
Body:
Extremely rough. Likely beyond repair. Fenders are also rotted. Hood is solid but does have a wide shallow dent. Top bows are still present but will need extensive repair if they are to be used.
Engine:
L-134 Go-Devil. It is not stuck but I have made no attempt to start it. Condition aside, it appears very original right down to the clips that hold the fuel and vacuum lines together. Air cleaner, oil filter, fuel pump are likely all original 3A parts. The starter was recently removed and is not included.
Transmission and Transfer case:
Both stuck. Hand brake has sustained damage and will need to be replaced. Some components possibly salvage but this will need a complete rebuild or replacement.
Axles:
D41 rear and D25 front. Two of four wheels stuck.

“CJ3A Willys Jeep. I believe it’s a 52. Body in descent shape. Seats have been redone in green canvas. Have new wheel cylinders for it. Jeep has Rare High Output “Supersonic” engine in it (dealer upgrade or owner upgrade back in the 50’s; 68hp engine vs. 60hp of the regular L134). Radiator and Fenders are currently removed due to replacing intake with a new Carburetor. Gas tank has been boiled out and relined. 4 stock 16″ wheels replacement wheels to go with it. I’m sure there are some other odds and ends to go with it. Drive train in very good condition.”

“1949 Willys Jeep CJ3A Completely Restored”
UPDATE **SOLD** Was $2000.
It’s a project.
“ve had this willys for 4-5 years, and Ive been building it dreadfully slow. The time has come to pass it to the next guy. Im only selling the body, Title and frame but may possibly sell as a roller. The frame alone cost me $3000 to build, Its a Throttle Down Kustoms frame built out of 3/16th square tubing and mandrel bent. The body needs the final welding done to it to finish it off. I Rebuilt it from the Cowl back with new body panels. Im into the body about $2500. Will include a ton of builders parts Ive accumulated over the years. The frame hasn’t been modified in anyway so its ready for your LS1, 350 Small block, or Any other engine you can make fit. Setup for toyota axles but you could put Narrowtrac Dana 44’s from a wagoneer easily enough. Clear Colorado Title in My Name. Price drop Will take $2000 OR Trade for Subaru AWD cars”
This has a Navy tag. Seller also has DUAL REAR WHEEL ADAPTERS for sale.
“For sale is our 1953 CJ3A Willys Jeep. It is currently registered non operable but the registration has been kept current. A Buck 231 V6 conversion was done back in the 80’s but the conversion was never fully completed. It was driven after the conversion but only a few hundred miles. The Buick v6 and transmission were rebuilt during the conversion. The brakes were upgraded to 10″ brakes and a Warn overdrive was also added. The Willys was also painted yellow at that time. Note, the windshield assembly came from a CJ2A. This Willys has been stored covered or indoors since the 80’s. This is a great Willys Jeep for someone looking for a restoration project. The body is in very good condition. The vehicle currently is not running (I haven’t tried). Looking for a good new home.
Asking $4200 OBO.
Also Available:
Dual rear wheel adapters and metal fender extensions. Previously this Willys had dual wheels installed.
Koenig metal top with door and artic gas heater (was functional back in 1978) with chimney also available. This would probably only be interesting to a collector.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $4800
