UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $12,500.
(02/25/2017) Looks in good shape.
“UP FOR SALE, RESTORED 1951 JEEP WILLYS OVERLAND CJ3A. This Jeep is an older restoration, but it still looks great. It was restored by an man in Ky, then it sat on display in a dealership in Murray Ky until the dealership closed. It is all original with the flat head four engine. Tires still like new. Just installed a new carburetor. NADA Average retail is $14,650, & High retail $23,300. This Jeep definitely fits between those two categories. My price is well below that. Detailed pictures are included. Please review all pictures. All sales are final…$12,500 or trade for ????”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $10,000.
Looks nice. Looks like the Bobcat hood has a custom design on the side.
“Custom classic. Powered by a Chevy small block 327. This thing is one of a kind. It’s geared amazing. You don’t need the brakes in for low and first gear it just creeps down steep hills. Warn 9000 lb winch. Hi and low splitter on a three sped stick. 4wd 1951 model so it’s 66 years old and beautiful. Won’t find another one like it.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was for trade.
(03/16/2017) Looks like a 3A with a 2A windshield.

(03/07/2015) Updated with a V-6.

“Rare 1951 Willys Jeep (clean title-original ford 4 cyl motor. 29,000 miles
Runs great. Good brakes. Has the Rare factory winch which uses a driveshaft from the transfer case. Very strong. Had several people tell me it’s worth $2000 alone. But they didn’t give me any money. ????? Can’t splain that Lucy.
Like a Billy goat, climb a telephone pole with this thing. Had radiator leak fixed. New water pump. Ready for action.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $3400. It was previously listed as a 1952, but the new ad lists this as a 1942.
(01/11/2017) Has some mods.
“This is a 1942 willys. Clean and in good shape. Runs well for the age. Willing to sell or trade. Lost pink so need to apply for it. If I do it it’s more $ for you. Has bill of sale and registration. Craig shared this one. Between the plow and the half cab alone there is value. It has an f-head swap. It runs, too.
“Up for sale, a friend has a 50’s something Willys Jeep. Either one of us know what year it is exactly. He last used it 2 years ago, to plow his driveway and it has sat since as it needs brake work so it can stop, he never got to it. He wanted me to try and unload it for him. Easier for him to just have me do his snow removal. Anyway, it runs and drives, just doesn’t stop, plow works, tires hold air, 4-wheel drive works, I think the cab heater works, and maybe the wipers too. He ended up with this Jeep when he bought his house and it was the sole vehicle for snow removal at his place, but it needs some work that he’ll never get a chance to do and it needs a new home now.
I’m pretty sure he has no paper work at all for it and neither did the last owner he got it from. Have no idea if it was ever registered and on the road in its lifetime, but my guess would be no. Floors are decent in it, and from what I can tell it’s still got plenty of life left after some TLC it would be a great little work horse around cabin, farm, or house and snow removal. I think it’s been patched up here and there and some obvious stuff not original to it by the pictures and would have to be picked up by rollback or car hauler to move from location, with it not being able to stop. Thanks for looking, any interest, text or call me.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $5900.
(11/16/2016) Has an f-head.
