Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 1946 willys jeep body for sale. Comes with body ,frame, and windshield frame. Has good hood that’s worth the asking price. Has original tailgate, gauges, finders etc. Also have a vin plate so you could file for lost title. Body has some rusted through places and bondo places on right side. Will part out if needed. ”

(12/26/2016) This has a rare Willys Overland half cab, along with a center seat and an overdrive. Has updated engine.

Runs, but needs work.
“This is a running cj2 comes with what you see in the pictures.It has a very clean rust free frame and running gear.It looks to be patched in some of the floors not to bad. They make most of the sheet metal for these jeeps.It is being sold with a Bill of sale.I was told the motor was rebuilt new alternator starter.Can’t confirm on rebuild. Sounds good no smoking.”

Civilian jeep modified for military inspiration. Used in past Christmas parades.
Floor boards intact. Some body rust and front bumper bent (see pics)
Canvas top like new. Tow bar included (see pics)
Gas can and spare tire mount. No doors. Push button start.
Family heirloom but must move!

“Jeep runs, drives, stops, etc… 12v system, original L134 motor, frame perfect, Dana 25 and 44 were rebuilt, shifts smooth, new brakes (cylinders, pads, lines). Many new parts, headgasket, starter, alternator, coil, fuel pump, thermostat, battery, distributor tune up, plus a lot more! Currently registered with clean title. Not perfect, does occasionally get a front end shimmy, body not perfect, but definitely a classic and fun vehicle!”

(10/27/2016) It’s a project.
“Selling my 1948 Willys CJ-2A Jeep. It has the original L134 flathead 4 and runs strong. Also original T90 3 spd and dana 18 transfer case. The trans is currently out and I’m rebuilding it and possibly the transfer case. So as of this typing it doesn’t run. but when that rebuild is done it will run and drive and price will go up. I have all the stuff to rebuild it with so if you buy it it is all ready to work on. also has factory rear pto. that’s locked up but should be easy fix. 4wd works good high and low gear. Steering box is sloppy, front end wobbles pretty good up around 30mph. tires hold air and ive drove on them about 20 miles but will need replaced.I made the wooden braket to mount two swivel style boat seats in, which are very comfortable. it is just in with screws so if you want to take it off you can. the seats aren’t included. I do have gauges and fenders. This little jeep is loads of fun to drive on and offroad and would make a good downtown cruiser or hunting/farm vehicle.
