“Nice original condition 1948 Jeep Willys. Original VIN Plate on firewall, Good title. Garage kept. Good condition. Original 4 cylinder “Go Devil” engine. Original drive line with good engine, transmission, T-case. etc… Nice Blue paint approx 10 years old. Original 6 volt system. No rust. Very good body. New windshield frame, seat frames and Beechcraft seat cushions w/ rear seat. NDT tires on 16″ wheels. Includes tow bar and rear tow hitch. I bought it 3 years ago as a project and but have not found time for it. Needs minor work to complete. Parts included but not installed include new windshield cowl, glass, insall kit; new seats, cushions, seat belts. Great father/ son project.”

Body and frame seem decent, the floor of the rear area is rusted through as seen in picture. Unique cab style. Has 540 PTO on rear. I do have the seat frame for it but not upholstered. “I listed this earlier in the summer, but have gone down significantly in price as I don’t want to see it sit outside through the long winter and I have no garage to store her in. Has a crack in the windshield. Needs new clutch, spark plugs and fresh gas. The frame is solid but rusty. Hard arctic top and doors. No papers. Would make a great project for the garage this winter and have ready to go out mudding in the spring. Serious inquiries only and if you set up a time to come out, please follow through! The dashboard is unusual.
“1948 Willys Custom Jeep with a Ford 302 V-8 Engine, 4-Speed Manual Transmission and lots of other extras that makes for a perfect hunting/farming/ranching vehicle. This jeep has had a lot of alterations but runs and drives good. The body is straight and the drive train seems to be tight. The engine has limited blow-by but does show some exhaust smoke. Some reconditioning may be needed but it should provide you with a lot of great service.”

The tries on the jeep are 7.00-16lw, they still said military on the tries. The speedometer reads 64525.The winch on the front is a 10,000lbs. “My jeep has been completly restored from the ground up, the frame was sand blasted and coated. The body is under coated. All the running gear has been rebuilt, the motor was rebuilt completly, it is the original motor that came in the jeep when bought new,I am the second owner. I have installed newer seats front and back, new floor mats,I built a compartment between the seats with a locking top, it has 5 – 15″ wheels with open country tires, there is a swing away stair tire rack on the back. I installed a new top, it has a built in radio and cassette player with 4 speakers. It has been driven around town and in parades.”
