Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “For sale, good running Willys. 2A with 3A windshield and frame. Has many hard to find parts, set up for four wheeling. Remanufactured 134 ci engine with custom grind performance camshaft, new weber carburetor, custom made and ceramic coated exhaust header. Makes very good power!
Very low miles on engine since install, several hundred at most. T98 4 spd transmission and new clutch, Model 18 transfer case, freshly rebuilt warn overdrive unit installed. Running a late model wide track Dana 30 in front with lock right, disc brakes, superwinch hubs, Dana 44 rear with detroit locker, 538 gears. All fluids new. All springs, hangers, and shackles replaced with 2.5 inch wide wrangler springs with military wrap. 35 inch bfgoodrich mud terrains. Continue reading

“Fun Jeep to drive, clear title, 4 wheel drive with high and low range transmission. Drive on or off road. Duallys look like is a factory option. They add roll over stability on slopes and hills, and less rutting in mud. Have owned for 25 years, I do think the miles listed is likely correct as I bought it from a golf course. Vehicle does wander some at higher speeds on road, and wipers don’t work. May have minor amount of additional miles (less than 100) when sold. NO RESERVE”

It’s got full floaters on the back. Probably a 1947 or ’48 based on the grille.
“1945 to 48 jeep new brakes,shocks exhaust ,radiator elect clutch pressure plate throw out bearing, 12 volt new carb. ,starter,seats and more. This has been used on private property the last 10 years not street legal , stock 4 cylinder runs great !”
The dash on this is unusual.
