“This is a 1948 jeep willys. Many mods/upgrades have been done. It has a compklete fiberglass body kit installed. It has a v-6 225 with headers and a holley intake. The motors runs but may have a blown head gasket, mily oil. It has a pto with a 10,000# winch. Also, having cnc hyd. conversions with rack and pinion steering. The tires are like new goodyears. Although this is a complete running jeep it does need work. I have a clear MI title but the vin tag is gone from previous body change. Call 419-602-3343. 1500 firm. Other parts aval. ”

I love the old lettering for the “Pine Valley Hunt Club”. Except for the crazy front bumper, this looks in pretty good shape. Motor is locked.

I just moved and can’t find my camera inamy stuff. I won’t lie, the body is good. The floor is bad. You can see the ground from inside the tub. The engine runs good. It does really well off road. I had a st steel gas tank built for it. Holds about 9 gallons. I have 31×10.50x15s on it. Has reapolstered cj5 seats in the front and the back seat is in serious need of repair. I am in need of cash. (06/28/2012) The serial number on this is #13346. The column shift is gone, but the full floaters appear to be there (and is one of the last few made before they eliminated that feature), along with the tool indents.

I purchased this 46 from my engine builder who had this in his barn for 10 years. This was one of @ 10 jeeps used on his property as a hunting vehicle. When I bought it it had the newer model engine in it with a cut in the hood to allow the air cleaner to protrude out the top. He had an original flathead completely rebuilt on a crate wrapped in plastic that came with the deal. You have to know this guy, his machine shop is insane and his quality of work is tops. As I said, they have a bunch of these willys on this property over the years and this was his last one. His intent was to fix it up and out this rebuilt flathead in it. The newer model engine originally in the car when I purchased it apparently ran but was way down on power according to my guy when he drove the Willys into the barn. So I never messed with this engine. Out it came and in went the rebuilt flathead engine. I purchased over $1500 in parts from Ron Fitzpatricks jeep parts. New Carb, new brake master, new engine mounts, new steering piviots and all the parts from the box to the wheels (less the actual rods). New Hood. Had the fuel tank and radiator cleaned but I’m not happy with either of those jobs. Had the starter and generator completely gone through. Brand new 8 volt battery. New Distributor, all new air box and complete system to the carb. New Fuel Pump, New water pump and clutch plate and throw out bearing. New gas peddle and all new linkage to the carb from the peddle as well. New choke cable and new ground wires. Actual Mileage…… HA who knows. . . . ”

“Im selling my 1948 jeep willys cj current registration, pink slip in hand, it has a great running 283 chevy motor with 202 heads newer edelbrock 600cfm carb starts and runs excellent, muncie m-21 4 speed trans with dana 18 transfer case, stock front dana 25 diff, and i chrystler 8.75 rear diff, gears do not match so the 4 wheel drive does not work yet but the trans and transfer case work great so its as easy as making the gears match, i bought this jeep 2 years ago and was gonna fix it all up but theres just not enough room for the kids. the jeep is drivable i cruise it around all the time and its a blast to drive it has plenty of power!! i put the new offroad seats in a year and a half ago,new fuel tank,new fuel pump,new master cylinder,brakes work good,all gauges work,its definatly a project but its a great start you could go hit the trails in it now no problem.. looking to get $3000 obo or may consider trades full or partial trade let me know what you have.”

“46 flat fender willys project w/a small block v8 chevy engine, i started but cant finish…. dont have the time or the money… it ran when i started tearn it down and good, the thing will climb a tree. it has all original window frame and tail gate both say willys, have roll bar and bench seat for rear. i have everything that was in it… dash, gauges, all of it…its all there. would really like it if someone was to take and finish what i couldnt do my self hate to see it go but thats it….1500.00 i dont wanna ask for to much but i do think its worth more but putting it back together is most the work hence the price, or trade for something cool, call me w/ur ideas of trades or cash,

I’m sure I could get more if I wanted to take the time to part out, and sell piece by piece, but I have had this thing for 12yrs and just want it gone. with the jeep come 2 soft doors,and 4 decent wheels. I have the glass for the winshield, but not the gaskets that go with them. price is firm, but part trade for the right item is a possibility.”

NEEDS TO BE COMPLETELY PUT BACK TOGETHER. Pix show some of the stainless steel parts & the frame is underneath and some of the part shown all enclosed inside our horsetrailer that has a wood floor.Engine is on an engine stand.The important work has been done for you, all the machining of the engine and rebuilding the transmission!! Just take the time to put back together and you’ll have a Willys that is worth a LOT more.”
There’s value here, but without a body I’m afraid the seller is going to take a hit on this project.
“1947 Jeep CJ2a. Started restoration from frame up. Have sandblasted and chassis black all steel support items. All parts are either bead blasted and painted , rebuilt or new. Every nut bolt and clip has been removed cleaned and painted. Too many new parts to list. Has clean title and vin on frame. Have only a few body parts that are salvageable so purchase of body is next and due to financial reasons that isn’t in the near future. Have over 5000.00 and three years invested. Asking 3900.00 pick up only. More info and pics upon request. All brake system and fuel system is new but is dry, didn’t add any fluids as didn’t know how long till it could be finished. Engine and drive train is rebuilt but greased until its to be driven. Have many other extra parts also.”

Everything works and is in great condition, even has the original factory color!
This show Jeep is even an AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) 1st Place winner!!!
Originally the Jeep came from a country estate in Pennsylvania and it NEVER had any rust on the body!
My Father did a full body off restoration 4 years ago and it has been sitting in his clean, dry basement (he drained the gas) ever since.
As you can see from the picture the vehicle only has 27.5 miles since he finished restoring it… this has to be one of the nicest Jeeps in the entire country!!!”
