Looks like a great price. It appears to have a rear PTO. May even have floating rear hubs.
“Runs great. Comes with plow, rear mounted winch and custom-made boom. Located on Westport Island. CJ-2A.”

Looks like it could be a VEC. Might be a good price. Has pre-black-plate plates.
“Here it is! An unmolested flat fender Jeep. Runs like a swiss watch- flat head four cylinder. Hood, fenders, windshield, tailgate and vertical body panels are GOOD. Floor pan could use some patching in places. No top- who needs it? I only drive it on the weekends in good weather. I have a ton of spare parts including an extra transmission. Front brakes were upgraded to 11″ drums a couple years ago and this dude will now actually STOP when you want. Military style tires. Have a tow bar for it, an old (very cool) service manual that actually tells you how to fix stuff. Oh and it has a PTO that kinda works but I have nothing to run off it. If you’ve been looking for an original reliable old flatty this is it. No lift kit, no V-8 stuffed in it. Pretty much the way it was built (except upgraded to 12V and the brakes). Won’t last long. I’m not really dying to sell it so no low ball offers. No 215 or other crap- you’ll need cash for this. I will be able to show this to people on the weekend, 4/26-27. If you’re interested shoot me an e-mail. No- the dog doesn’t go with it….”

“This is a 1948 Willys CJ3A. It was used by a vet in parades and events. It is not military but it is done up as an Airborne jeep. It has a Ford early pinto or 2000 series motor which runs flawlessly. I just put a poly tank in it and replaced the fuel lines. It fires right up and shifts through all the gears and all the four wheel drive is working. It still has the T90 transmission and dana 18 transfer case. It also has the original 5:38 geared Dana 44 rear axle. This is a real hoss in the woods. It will need some wiring and seat bottoms. Yes, It stops and yes I just drove it around the yard to test everything out. The battery is not included. This is sold as is with a bill of sale only. four two three seven six two five eight five eight or come by 6645 Lafayette road (just across the street from trails end ranch).”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000.
“I’m selling my 1947 willys cj2a. everything is original except paint, upholstery, and a few gauges. Motor runs great, transmission shifts smooth, everything mechanically is fine. Had the cylinder walls scoped, and they are great, no pitting, wear marks ect.
The previous owner replaced the rusted sheet metal, applied a rubber coating to the floor.
The major issue is the paint.. the previous owner got tired of it and rushed it, there’s drips, a few scratches, looks like he applied a think coat of body filler and didn’t do that good of a job sanding it, so it’s a bit uneven and what not.
A good sanding, and re-paint, and she will be show room ready. from 10ft away, she looks perfect, but once up close the flaws come out.
there’s some slight body damage to the right fender well as seen in the pic.
It needs a radiator… it gets hot after driving it for a bit. but that’s the only mechanical thing wrong, new water pump installed, converted to 12 volt.
The lights, blinkers ect need to be wired to the switch I have, I have everything, just haven’t installed it yet.
can send more pictures on request.
Have clear Mississippi title, it will cost 180.00 to transfer into florida. That fee is up to the buyer.
Will consider trades for willys pickups, rat rods, anything old and unique really.”
UPDATE: Was $900. **SOLD**
Has column shift. Might be some parts value here.
” am selling my 1946 Jeep CJ2A project. I just don’t see myself having enough time to dedicate to this project right now. This is the first CJ (Civilian Jeep) produced after WWII and has a lot of the same parts as the military version but has some interesting differences. It has a “three on the tree”, a lever actuated transfer dual range transfer case, and a power take off (PTO). I started disassembling the vehicle for rebuilding so it is pretty much in parts now. It is mostly complete. The body is rough but rebuildable. All of the important parts with the Willy’s logo are in very decent condition and are worth more than I’m asking. The floor boards under the seats are gone. A lot of these vehicles have been parted out but I’m hoping this one will have a chance to run again. The engine has a small crack which, acording to my machine shop can be welded and the engine rebuilt. The engine was not seized and so most of the parts are reuseable except that it probably will need oversized pistons. The copper radiator alone is worth around $300. The frame has been welded on by a previous owner that installed some sort of a plow on it. This would be a great project for the guy who likes this sort of thing.”
Given the winch, this might be a good price if the engine spins.
“1948 Willys CJ2A flat fender Jeep, stock engine and transmission, Dana 27 front and Dana 44 rear 5:38 gears, upgraded GM steering box and steering linkage, Jeep J3000 big brakes, 34/9.5/15 Super Swampers in near new condition, full cage with complete wrap around rear passengers and side gussets, Warn winch. . . It has been sitting in the garage for 11 years, it will start but probably will need the fuel tank cleaned out. The passenger side windshield is broken and the top is not in the best of shape. Too many hobbies have left this sitting, time for someone to use it again. Sorry for the pictures but it is packed in the garage.
Any questions or more pictures email or text 360-nine nine zero-9547”
Listed as a CJ-3B, it looks to be a 3A with a 2A body.
“1950 Willys Jeep CJ3B, new motor, runs great”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000
This has a few updates.
“I have a 1949 willys jeep. I picked it up a couple of years ago to have a jeep. It had the Buick 225 odd fire v6 in it. It also has a t-90 transmission with an overdrive unit on it. It has a 4-barrel eldebrock carborator on it with the automatic choke. It has 10 miles on the new motor. This is a project jeep. It does start and move under its own power but still needs some small stuff that needs to be done. It has a clean title. I’m asking $5000 obo or will trade for a camp trailer. I will send pics on request.
