Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1945 Willy’s CJ2a (first year of cj) 39,000 original miles on original flathead four-cylinder. Original oil bath, air cleaner and all.  Runs, but will need a carb rebuild kit due to leaky seals. And brake work. this is number 1505 of 1824 on the first production run. There are a few small spot where rust is bubbling the paint job which was done in the late 70s. I have a white top and doors in good condition. Great candidate for restoration or just enjoy it as it is. this was a barn find purchase. Where it had been sitting since 1984.”

1943 MB has original tub, fenders and windshield, also has MB hood and grill, it sits on a cj2a frame and I do have a machine gun frame mount for that. Started cutting out part of the floor. Comes with lots of extra parts. Including engine and transmission. New tires also.

“1948 CJ2A runs and drives has a ford 289 with the original 3-speed. Was an old dessert racing jeep back in the day. Then later restored in early 70s. Engine has had some work done to it. The heads are off a 302 that have had some work done. I have a video of it running that I can send to you. Has a aluminum intake off of a HO mustang. Has a electrical fuel pump. And power steering. “1947 Willys 134 engine, new fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel pump and rebuilt carburetor. Engine sounds really good doesn’t smoke. Needs some adjustments to the carb (not my expertise). Seats reupholstered. Brakes work. Clutch is worn completely out and makes a lot of noise so will need hauled. Tires are old. Great start to a cool project. What you see is what you get! Clean title.”
