Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. 1943 MB has original tub, fenders and windshield, also has MB hood and grill, it sits on a cj2a frame and I do have a machine gun frame mount for that. Started cutting out part of the floor. Comes with lots of extra parts. Including engine and transmission. New tires also.

“1948 CJ2A runs and drives has a ford 289 with the original 3-speed. Was an old dessert racing jeep back in the day. Then later restored in early 70s. Engine has had some work done to it. (09/14/2022) Originally a GPW, it’s unclear how much “GPW” is left. This does have an unusual dash, among other updates.

“1947 Willys 134 engine, new fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel pump and rebuilt carburetor. Engine sounds really good doesn’t smoke. Needs some adjustments to the carb (not my expertise). Seats reupholstered. Brakes work. Clutch is worn completely out and makes a lot of noise so will need hauled. Tires are old. Great start to a cool project. What you see is what you get! Clean title.”

Runs, but doesn’t shift into gear.
“If your looking at this add most likely you know a bit about these old jeeps and maybe even a bit about the Bantam trailer that goes with.
The Jeep runs but the transmission won’t go into gear, however it does roll so it’s not stuck in gear. It seems mostly original albeit some repairs done over the last 75 years. It needs attention at every point so it’s a good candidate for a restore I think. I’ve got a green title for it.
The trailer is an old Bantam with some repairs over the last 70+ years, new tires it appears but not title. Can issue a bill of sale if needed.
I’m keen to sell both as a combination but am willing to separate if one desires and the terms are agreeable.
If add is up I’ve got it, I’m wary of scammers.”

It has a real wwii mb grille on it but i have the original willys grille and lights for it too.
Also have a dana 44 with 11” drums ready to go in
And a complete extra windshield but with a solid single piece of glass.
Jeep has 12v conversion, pertronix ignition, and disc brakes in front.
Otherwise it is totally stock.
Engine was previously rebuild and has great compression.
Steering, transmission, transfer case axles all in great shape.
Body is original with original dents and tool box floor rust.

Has almost new 7.50-16s
