This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1948 willys 283 sbc Borge Warner 4 speed ran when I parked it battery went dead and now has sat it does smoke when first start so motor will need a rebuild someday I had just put new tires on it before I parked it I have too many projects so now I am letting this one go”

The body is a CJ-2A, so unclear if this is a ’49 3A chassis.

“Amazingly zero rust!!!!Previous owner had original Willy’s 4 cyl rebuilt. Tranny gone through and brake brake likes. 12 volt conversion. Probably go 55 mph.
