“I am selling my 1946 WILLYS flat fender Jeep. Originally purchased 6 months ago as a project for my son but he lost interest. Now just looking to free up some space in the garage. Currently has a clean CA title and is in a non-op status. There are no back fees. Here is what I know about the jeep.
Currently has a 4 speed with overdrive. Not sure what year transmission is from. Currently has a 318 from a 69 dodge dart. Engine ran strong prior to converting from a 2 barrel to a 4 barrel. Currently has 31x 10.5×15 mud tires. Most new parts have not been installed, still in original package.
New parts include:

The winch is rated for 8000 lbs. I can tell you,it will pull more.its a work rig. I used it to pull trees to the landing. Very durable, and fun to putt with. 1949 Willys CJ-2a: My father purchased this CJ-2a in the mid 1970’s from a gentlemen in Americus, GA. Dad passed away July 2013 to cancer. He invested a lot of time and money into this antique vehicle. The jeep has been stored inside, never been mistreated, and is in very good – excellent condition overall, green in color, excellent mechanical sound condition, original drivetrain, new fuel pump and rebuilt carburetor, runs and drives well, brakes need to be bled, motor was rebuilt in the mid-late 1970’s/early 80’s, lights, heater and horn works, 4 hi/lo works, aftermarket lock out hubs, has an exhaust leak, custom made towbar, has rear seat, frame and top (from a 1950’s military jeep that was professionally adjusted to fit the frame) which aren’t seen in photos, custom made cover, no title – vehicle registration only, and also have 1 gallon of olive drab paint and red primer I purchased several years ago. ”
