Up graded engine to a 4.3 Chevy vortec . Converted to carburetor new holly 500 with aluminum intake. UPDATE **SOLD** Was $995.

It’s project. Was a Forestry Department vehicle.

“Mostly complete. Will need a complete restoration or would make a good parts vehicle to complete a restoration already in progress. It has frame rust on divers side but it could be repaired. The transmission moves freely. The motor is in unknown condition and will not turn. At one time this jeep was in a forestry department (shield and numbers visible). What is shown in pictures is all that is available & reflect condition.

I have kept this jeep for 4 years and have not had time to restore her. $995 cash – I am not flexible on price and am not looking for a nostalgic conversation. (06/19/2019) This is listed as a 1946, but the serial number (100385) suggests this is a 1947.

“I have a 1946 Willys Jeep that I would like to sell for $3300. It needs some work, but it does run and drive and titled in PA as a vintage vehicle. In addition to the vehicle, I also have extra parts and an extra T90 transmission and Dana18 transfer case. The vehicle was bought originally as a project, but like almost all these ads, got way too out of hand with a lot of stuff happening in my life (graduating college, getting a job, moving, etc..). However, I would like this Willys to go to someone who would really appreciate its worth and hard work that has been put into it.

Off the bat, somethings that need to be worked on are mainly cosmetic with the body tub rusting in places and windshield missing the glass (I have windshield parts and seals). In addition, the transmission leaks sometimes, depending on the weather, which leads me to seals. Seats for these things are hard to come by (I have been trying to keep it OE), but the office chairs are there so the driver doesn’t just sit on the gas tank.
