Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It’s a project. Body is off.
“For sale 1946 Willys CJ2A. 4 cyl. Nice project. Body is now off for front floor pan replacent (no pan). Included new alternator conversion. New clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing new exhaust pipe and muffler. This jeep runs beautiful. Transfer and tranny removed for clutch replacement. Rare original Willys cpkup cab with doors come with it if you wish to use it. I wasnt going to. Have maore extra parts, gas tank seat frames windshield frame etc. VERY REWARDING PROJECT. Pictured before body removed. No papers but obtainable.”

Here’s the story on this crawler…… Jeep sat in a barn for a longgggg time. Restored and painted in early 90’s. Been garaged the entire time since. Approximately 3300 miles put on it in the last 19 years. We have had it for the last 8 years (dad had it the entire time before that) and have used it sparingly during that time with less than 1500 miles.
Many extras comes with it that I would rather discuss with a serious buyer over the phone or in person. Email for pictures and an appointment / phone call.”

“I have a 1948 CJ2A for sale. The tub and interior are in great condition. Has a strong running small block Ford V8. New exhaust including headers. New motor mounts from advanced adapters. Drives great but does need new drive lines because of repositioning of engine. Can be driven as is but doesn’t have front drive line so no four wheel drive. Will work perfect once drive lines are replaced (should only be a couple hundred for custom ones to be built do to being so short.) Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.”

“I have decided to sell my “Ol’ Willys” CJ-2a. It’s in running/driving condition.for a 67 year old vehicle. It was “shade -tree” restored several years ago,always garaged,never driven in winter the twelve years I have had it. Has newer brakes,lines,battery other misc. stuff. Comes with complete canvas top w/doors. Like I said it runs/drives/stops/and goes. Engine could use freshening up,or drive it as-is…smokes a little and carb needs rebuild. Original seats recovered, has front and optional rear heater, new “best” top ,with doors. Everything works as it should, and still running on 6volt system.Great for parade’s or beach town.Please call John.”
This appears to have a replacement body and some full floating hubs.
