About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“elling my 1947 CJ2A Willys. Came out with trencher on back, most of it is there, along with extra parts. Its been sitting at my place too long, so its time to sell. No title, I bought it from original owner, who said he never had a title. It was considered off road/farm equipment so he never had it titled. Has serial number, and have looked into getting title, won’t take much to get one for it. Asking $1000 for it. Wanna sell whole, and not sell parts. Lots of usable parts for another project or to fix up and drive as a jeep. Rims on jeep in pics are not rims going with jeep, those are off my other one. I have different rims and tires to put on jeep that sell with it.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000. Might have had an MB body and chassis.
Runs. Has a poor bondo job near the driver’s step.

The builder of this jeep (who isn’t the seller) had an unusual solution for the front driveline. Not sure why it is attached at all. The seller also provides full disclosure that it shouldn’t be driven faster than 55mph.
(06/19/2015) “So i have a 1947 jeep willys cj2a has stock running gear has been upgraded to a 12v system it runs and drives sitting on 33 inch tires just bought guages trying to figure out how to wire them in. “Running and Driving 1946 Willys CJ-2A ECV (early civilian vehicle) come take her for a drive. Just found a different different toy and need to sell this one to fund the other.”

“1946 Willys CJ2A, with everything except the motor. Was set up for F Head Willys motor (therefore the hood scoop). Motor is available for $200 extra. Includes transmission. Tires are decent. Tub will need new floor pans and some work by the foot pads to make it solid, but is very restorable. No title, will provide bill of sale”
“I’m looking to sell or trade my 46 willys jeep cj2a
This is a late 46 cj2a with the floor shifter.
It is 99% complete
100% original
It does run! Engine will start and run.
No rust
Very nice candidate for restore
No scammers or help selling needed!”
“This is a mostly original Willys Jeep, the first year for the CJ series. It does have some rust but is repairable. The right side floor was repaired by a previous owner. The motor was swapped out to the later F head overhead valve engine. It is stuck or frozen, and does not turn over. Previous owner said he drove it several years ago and left it parked, so it will probably need a tear down.”
“1946 CJ2a, this jeep has a title. First off, this willy’s isnt perfect. It runs and drives, but still needs some tinkering. I got this jeep about a year ago in a trade and drove it once around the field when i brought it home and been parked in the shop ever since. I want someone to buy this jeep and use it the way it needs to be used. I’ve replaced all of the fluids, and plugs. It will start right up. It just needs to be drove. So what is wrong with it you ask? There is a little rattle when going down the road, It needs a new master cylinder for breaks (old one leaks. 45$ online) its missing one rear shock, and it leaks just a little. (I believe its a couple bolts in t case that need to be tighend, you’ll have to grind down a wrench to get it to fit) The Willy’s has the stock power train except for wider Willy’s truck axles. Its locked front and back, with lock outs on the front. Has a winch on the front but the disengage/engage switch is broke. Winch does work.
I also have the original oil bath air filter to go with it.”
“1946 CJ-2A Willys Jeep. Engine is 2000 S-10 4.3 L V-6. Changed TBI to Edelbrock 4 barrel Carb and HEI distributor. Has less then 50 miles on rebuilt motor, T90 trans and transfer case. Brand new Big O
Big Foot 31×10.5rt15 Tires. Brand new Shocks and leaf springs3″ lift. Fun to drive!”
Looks like enough parts to build a jeep. Block is cracked and frozed.
“I have a 46 Willys Jeep CJ2A. It has been mostly disassembled and really only good for parts. Make any reasonable offer/trade and its yours. No cherry picking. All or none. Engine is seized and has a cracked block but intake, exhaust and carb. seem to be in decent shape.”
“Here is a very nice ’46 Willys that is in remarkably good shape for its age. It still has the original flathead engine and a very rare Jeep hard top. The Jeep runs, drives and stops like it should. This is a great old survivor.”
“46 willys jeep …running condition..haven’t started it in two years..could use a good home ..is definatley restorable or something to cruise around in..4700.00..or best offer”
(09/05/2012) There are a couple of rust issues and has a variety of mods, but does have a new steel body.
