“46 cj2a
Rebuilt L head a few years ago runs perfect. Rear end is Dana 44 with 1 piece axles. Dana 30 disc brake front end. Both locked, 5.38 gears. PTO winch, 32″ super swampers with a spare. Body is not great, but works fine. Has some rust and leaks oil. Original 3 speed trains and spicer 18 t case. Fun rig that is reliable. Offers considered in person only. ”

(10/02/2016) Starter needs to be replace. The engine very well could be stock, but not stock in that jeep. It’s a mix of MB and CJ parts.

“1949 willys cj2a jeep 4×4. Original flat head 4 cylinder “go devil” engine with original drivetrain. Fresh OD green paint an a few WWII toys to go with it. This is not a MB, but a tribute jeep. Runs good for around town errands but not recomended for long distance trips. Has new brakes an wheel cylinders and steel lines. Good steel belted tires on one piece wheels. Removable metal top with rear hatch. Doors and roll bar to go with it. Lights work inside and out vacum wipers are operational but their vacum so, by design they suck. Has a oil drip but no other leaks. Floor pans are solid without rust. Four wheel drive works great. I dont like emails because i dont work behind a desk.”

Mostly in original condition, We trailered it up to Butler,PA for the first Bantam jeep show and drove it all over, Good fun . We drove it to a few local jeep shows. Draws a crowd for it’s age. (02/01/2017) “hi there. i got a willys jeep for sale. it is a cj2a. has the l134 flathead. engine runs good. has power. does smoke a bit but it is an old engine. shifts through all gears fine. HAS NO BRAKES. it has been converted to 12 volt. was going to restore but now i have no time. body needs some work but is not to bad considering the age. has a custom built cab on it. nice for the winter. 4×4 works. i have the other wheel, obviously it is not on right now—, needed it for the hay wagon 😛
HAS NEWER TIRES-about 1 year old, they are not dry rotted and hold air great.
16 inch rims. jeep comes with some extra parts, like a m38 windshield, and some other small stuff.
sadly NO TITLE.”

This is just to see if there is any interest. I am in no rush to sell, but if someone is willing to meet my asking price it is all yours.
The Good:
1947 CJ2A frame and axles. Both in good usable condition. Rear axle is the hard to find offset axle and the frame has had the spring hangers removed and relocated to allow for longer and stronger YJ springs. **softer ride with more articulation**
Brand new wheels with 4.5″ backspacing and used 33” mud terrains with a little tread left.
1994 5.7L LT1 from a Cadillac Fleetwood, ran before I pulled it. New aluminum bellhousing and dual disc clutch. Continue reading

Engine V6 225 with Isky cam, adjustable oil pressure, oversize pistons (.040 over), Holley Avenger Carburator Dyno-tuned. On board air for ARB’s and tire inflation. Transmission 4 speed T18 with 6.28 low gear. Transfer Case D300 from 1981 IH scout (texas bolt pattern) 4:1 gear conversion.
