Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Boxed frame, Full roll cage, Tilt steering column, 1975 CJ 5 drive train 373 gear ratio [ I pull it behind the motor home at 60-65 MPH with no problem ] It has under 2000 miles build, Warn 1085 winch [ and no I won’t sell the winch separate ] 18 gallon fuel tank with drain plug and new inline filter, No rust at all !!!, off frame build. Brand new battery, Rebuilt and Dyno’d carb, CB, New Bimini top, Rear seat with seat belts, Front shoulder belts and more. Its one of the cleanest flat fenders around. Ive taken this little jeep everywhere, fishing Bishop, Owens River, Mammoth. Its never let me down, Ive taken my family 50 miles in from pavement camping.Clean title in my name, Just paid 2018 Tags, You can drive it home. 7800.00 OBO, That tow bar does not come with it, but I have another one.”

(12/20/2017) The seller indicates this was column shift CJ-2A (#37254) that has been restored to “original condition”. Yet, it has a floor shifter. It’s certainly possible that this originally came with a floor shift. There are a few other non stock things done on this as well.

“For sale is a 1946 CJ-2A Jeep S/N 64484. Jeep is in running condition and is used as an aircraft tug on a daily basis. It is a 1946 so there are many things wrong with it.
Some, but not all, items to note are:
– Rust throughout the jeep
– Lights throughout the jeep are intermittent in operation or not working
– No gas cap
– Engine burns oil
– Brakes seem stiff
– Needs tires
– Leaks oil
