Sell indicates this is “real nice”, but it looks to me like it needs body work and some front parking lights at the very least.

“1946 Willys Utility Pickup, nice restoration, good body and paint, nice redone int, frame off build, heavy duty, 6ply firestone military tires, 4×4, 4cyl, 3spd, runs/drives great”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9950.
This has a body lift of two or three inches, so the body sits off of the frame quite a bit. It is most evident if you look at the photo of the jeep from the rear.
“1948 Willys Jeep, Model CJ2A, The iconic flat fender jeep, good body, nice paint, redone interior, 31 inch tires, converted to 12 volt, 4cyl, 3spd, runs/drives good.”
It runs, but needs work.

“For sale is a 1948 Willy’s CJ-2A. Engine runs but will need rebuild. Rebuilt generator and starter, exhaust, fuel and brake lines, master cylinder and gas tank. Jeep has been in New Mexico and Texas so no significant rustling of panels. A very original Jeep with very little modification. Title available however still under name of previous owner who passed away.”
More evidence that suggests the rumor of a Spokane Jeep dealer extending CJ-2As into “CJ-2Ls” was true. Thanks to Jay for spotting it. The hardtop has a Cab Enclosure data plate, suggesting that this top is a modified (hacked) version of that top.

“1948 Willys CJ-2A Jeep complete. This jeep is perfect for a full restoration project. Engine turns over freely, but does not start. Needs brakes. It has a hard top taken from a 1/4 ton truck welded to the body. Surface rust and some sheet metal rust out (see photos).
Started restoration, but stopped due to injury and now moving. Have all the parts removed plus new 50 Amp 12 volt alternator.”
May be worth a look.

“I’m selling a 1946 Willys cj2a, it has the original motor and transmission, new fuel pump, carb, inline filter, hoses and new tires. I have covers for the seats I have not put on.”
There must be a story here with this one. This jeep looks like it was rattle-canned hastily (and perhaps there was a deal on white paint that day, too).

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6000.
The seller notes the tub is a reproduction. It appears to have a cj chassis.
“For sale. 1948 willys jeep. Has a rust free reproduction military steel tub from the 80’s or 90’s. runs and drives nice. Starts great. Rebuilt starter, and all new brakes, hoses, and master as well. Has turns signals added for road use.. would consider trade is you had a civilian tub.”

“I bought it from a guy who bought it in the Pittsburgh area. Apparently, it sat in a firehouse for many years and was maintained by the firemen. I converted from 6v to 12v because it’s cold and put in a key ignition. It actually came with a Geiger counter. Pretty cool.”
The price includes the trailer and the jeep.

“1946 Willys jeep runs drives 4×4 works straight body Has 6 cylinder Ford engine Brakes need finishing Has a little rust but it’s a Texas car so not bad for a 72 year old. Court house ran the serial number and gave me paper work to get the title but said I’d have to register and buy plates as soon as it came in so I didn’t see any sense in paying twice.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000.
No title. Lots of work remaining.
“1947 jeep Willy’s rebuilt motor needs work no title just bought new carb.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
Seller lists $3500 in the headline, but $4500 in the text.
“1948 Willy’s Jeep, 350 Chevy motor, runs and drives, tags are current, we have the top for it also, needs some minor work $3500. 2002 Ford F-150, standard, runs perfectly fine, 4.2 engine, single cab, tires are really good $4500.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000
(08/23/2017) Brakes were fixed recently.
“48 Cj 2a runs and drives good lots of fun new 11 inch break conversion new front springs fuel tank master cylinder fuel pump all lights and signal lights work the break conversion was done by willys restoration in Toledo”
UPDATE: The price has been dropped to $9000. I swear there was a serial number of 34043 listed, but if it was there, it is no longer there now.
The serial number of 34043 is a bit late for indents. Given the flat plate over the tranny, this may have been a column shift.

“1946 willys CJ2A

Starts right up and ready to go.
Needs a little work but not much at all.”
The poster of this jeep does not appear to be the seller, but the actual seller’s p# appears to be hidden. So, it seems you’ll have to contact the poster to get the p#. The steps appear patched.

“Has pinto engine but runs and drives”
Listed as a 1946, this is definitely a lefty. No description provided.
This probably should be a column shift.
“All original except motor. Ran last year, but brake lines blew. Ready for someone with money, and time to restore history”
The drain holes are filled. It’s listed as a 3A, but the windshield suggests 2A.
