Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Rearend was built for race and was only driven down one 1/4 mile pass before being pulled out and put in the Willy’s. Just don’t have the time or money to finish it.”

“I have a rolling chassis with tranny, and two tubs as well as some extra parts (fenders, cowl, etc.) which could be used for patch panels. Both tubs have rust, but I believe there is more than enough to make one good one out of the two. I might even know of a L-Head motor if you want to go back to all original.”

This Willys Jeep CJ2A has made it through the Rubicon countless times, in doing so it has many memorable bumps and bruises. Mechanically all issues that have popped up have been addressed appropriately. It has also been upgraded. The list below describes preventative maintenance and upgrades.
Preventative Maintenance:
New timing chain
New timing cover
New oil pan and gasket
Rebuilt dana 18 transfer case
New clutch
New brake master cylinder
New aluminum radiator with external fan
New mechanical fan and cowling
Rebuilt steering box
New motor mounts

Everything works, heater, lights, turn signals and four wheel drive. All new wiring, new tires, brakes and a custom made top and seat covers by Beechwood Canvas. Warn Overdrive installed, also will include rear PTO, drive shaft and gear shift, original radiator and original engine which can be rebuilt ( was running, stuck valves).
