Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I bought this Jeep in December from a man who owned and built this Jeep from 1976-2017. In that time he managed to save every recite and manual from his build. I have 41 years of paperwork. When I asked him why he’s selling it he responded with, “I’m too old and too fat to drive the thing.” Since owning it all I have done is drive it about 100 miles and replaced a fuel tank. I’m selling it because, full disclosure, I barley fit in it and I’m looking at a motorcycle I want to buy. I’m also open to equal trades, trade plus you give me money or trade and I give you money. Spring over conversion
Dana 44 front and rear with 5.38 gears, spool in rear and lock rite in the front, with 4-wheel disc brakes with Wildwood master cylinders and pedal.
1967 Chevy small journal 327 350 horsepower model only been on 4 trips since it was rebuilt 3 years ago.
Bolted to a brand new rebuilt turbo 350 transmission with a recently rebuilt Dana 18 transfer case.
Fully caged and attached to the frame. 3 suspension seats (child’s in rear) bolted to the cage with 4 point harnesses for all.
10,000 pound winch (I know it is over kill)
35 inch tires on M/T knock offs
Ram assist steering with 1 ton cross over steering.”

Includes transmission rebuild kit, transfer case rebuild kit, original starter rebuilt locally, new clutch kit, new plugs and wires, Besttop soft top and doors, and plenty of other original, new, and NOS parts. Still 6V and includes hard to find parts such as the original oil bath air filter, radiator, etc. I have owned this Jeep for over 10 years, and she drives like a dream. I just don’t have the time to finish the rebuild after taking a new position.
No lowball offers. They don’t build real Jeeps like these anymore and they are becoming harder and harder to find.”

“1946 Willys yes it does have rust , mostly the front floors but someone had done a good repair . very usable .the bad is the hood the old man that had it laid a piece of tarp across the hood that help trap moisture and caused a rust problem . will need replaced if U restore it. It does run by adding gas straight to the carb. Engine sounds good no knocks .I am not pulling in fuel out of the tank felt the tank would need to be cleaned before any fuel was added .The old jeep rolls free ( brakes are not locked ) know issues the gas tank will need cleaned .
The carb will need rebuilt , i’m sure the brakes will need to be addressed . the tires are old but do hold air .Its 72 years old and I Am selling as a project .Its a little over my head and I have some physical limitations . But with a little work mainly what I had mentioned prior it could be on the road and the Patina is Awesome .Bring a trailer or dolly it is not drivable due to carb leaking & tank needing cleaned”
