Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “47 Cj 2a jeep willys. Runs and drives and stops but has cracked block. Attempted to repair then bought second jeep for new block but have yet to pull and rebuild. The story is that the engine in the red jeep is rebuilt. I can not stand behind that. It runs great I was going to take the two and make one. frame is solid!
