It’s not a Surrey, but that pink color sure is similar to the Surrey pink.
“Two Willys jeeps. Pink is late 40’s. Green is early 50’s. Pink has original flat 4 and sounds like a tractor. Green has a Chevy V8 and sounds like a hot rod. Both have started within the last three months. $1000 each.”
That’s a heavy front bumper. It it supposed to be for hunting? Cow pushing?

Looks solid.
“1946 Willys-Overland Jeep CJ-2A
One owner since 1966. Restored in 1975. Stock original survivor. Carefully used and well maintained. Always stored indoors, no rust, no dents.
This Jeep is equipped with a KOENIG “King” power take off winch with an 8,000 pound capacity. It is also fitted with DUALMATIC Locking Hubs, a ROLL BAR and an accessory rear mounted spare tire carrier. There is NO top.
Recent work:
5 new, 6.00-16 NDT tires on original Kelsey Hayes rims with a fresh powder coated finish. Also, all new brake cylinders and DOT 5 fluid, flushed fuel system, tune-up and timing chain. All fresh running gear lubricants installed along with new hoses, belts and fuel pump. Brakes and clutch work well. There are NO windshield wipers. Factory Tech Manual is included.
Compression is strong. Oil pressure is about 25 psi at idle and jumps to 40+ when accelerated. Gauges, lights, horn all work and there are no steering issues. Upholstery on driver and passenger seat are in excellent condition as is the rear seat except for 3 small (3/8″)punctures. This Jeep starts quickly, runs and drives well. It’s a true classic with all the right classic accessories
Here is your chance to have a nice old Jeep with mild patina that you can enjoy and drive. Or, it could be a remarkably straight, rust free, start for you own restoration project.
AS-IS, no warranty. Clear CA Title, currently non-op status.”
Listed as a 1948 CJ-2A, it appears to be a either a late CJ-2A with a 3A windshield or an actual CJ-3A with the wrong date.

“Registered as 1948 CJ2A. Engine is good, rebuilt transmission with less than 100 miles. Needs a starter solenoid and the carb cleaned. $4000 OBO. No trades.”
UPDATE:**SOLD** Was $7000.
(06/23/2018) Palisade is near Grand Junction, so the body may be in very good shape still.
“This is a life-long western Colorado automobile. It spent most of its life in Palisade on a peach orchard. There is very little rust.
It has an excellent, professionally built L134 flat-head “Go-Devil” engine with correct carburetor, air filter and original 6V electrical system. The brakes are all new including the brake lines, wheel cylinders and master cylinder. The exhaust system is also all brand new. The seats are redone with the correct springs and covers.
This is a very good candidate for a full restoration, or to bump around the mountains in something with character.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on $3500.
(06/21/2018) Apparently, this was a mail jeep. It’s got a top that fits it (CJ-6 top perhaps?). It runs, it drives, and is a bit different.
“1946 Willys cj2a has had lots of new parts on it over the past couple years new brakes rebuilt carburetor rebuilt generator(still on 6 volts), new tires inner tubes and powder coated wheels I know I’m going to forget alot of stuff. The only issues that I had with it are that it leaks and burns oil. So no long distance trips with it. It does run it does Drive and the 4 wheel drive works. High and low. I know I’ve spent more than $2,000 in Parts on it, for instance the wheels and tires alone where a thousand plus almost $800 for the brake system. master cylinder and all, just to name a few. It’s not pretty but it works. I’m looking to get $3,500 for it CASH only. Price is negotiable slightly. Thanks and there’s one thing I forgot to mention it used to be a mail truck back in the day and I do have the steel top that was originally on it. That’s why the body is extended about 12 inches in the back.”
Not sure how much value is here.

All gauges are intact. Tailgate is in good shape. Comes with metal cab. The bad: Frame is completely gone. Tub has been covered with sheet metal and might be salvageable. Windshield is rotted. “This is a project vehicle! It is a 1948 Jeep Willys. It was my grandfather’s. I unfortunately dont know much about it but can try to answer any questions you have. I do have a rebuilt motor that he built for it (pictured) but never got it put in the jeep. It has a clean title. As far as I know it is all original as far as parts but looks like its been painted before. Any questions just ask.”
UPDATE **SOLD** Was $2100.

“Stock axles, tranny and transfer case. Previous owner swapped a 225 buick oddfire V6 in it, turns over fine just haven’t had the time to fire it up. I have a new fuel tank to go with it as well as a spare tranny and transfer case and other misc parts. Message me with any questions, thanks”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9000.
(07/17/2018) The body looks to be a DJ-3A body. I don’t see anything that suggest this was a 1943 MB/GPW.
“I have a 1943 Willys for sale. It is in excellent condition. It has 20,200 miles on it! I have a second set of black Willys wheels with military tires for it as well. Paint is a year old. I have the doors for it. It has the original drivetrain.(Go devil flathead engine, t90 transmission with Warn overdrive!). I have a tow bar for it, so it can be pulled behind a truck or r.v. This is the 18th and most favorite Jeep I’ve owned. I don’t have to sell, but I’m moving in a couple of weeks, so the cash would be helpful in the coming months. This jeep will not disappoint you! I will consider reasonable offers, but please don’t lowball me”
Looks in good shape. Front Bumper might be bend slightly upward.

“For Sale: 1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A; new military style tires; new vinyl top; new Warn hubs; runs good”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000.
(08/01/2018) Has a little bit of rust. Has Cutlas Powerlock hubs.
“This Jeep has been in the family since 1950, but it is time to let it go. It is not all original, the windshield is off a CJ3A, the rims are 15s not 16s, the tires are not military tread, converted to 12 volt, and the tire mount is on the tailgate not on the side. The motor though is the original 70 horse go devil motor and as far as I know has been rebuilt once. I think it may need to be done again as it smokes some on occasion.
It has a couple of rust spots and a few dents, but so would you if you were 70 years old! This old jeep just needs some TLC and it will be good to go. I just drive it around town in the summer, probably put less than a hundred miles a year on it but don’t know for sure since the speedometer hasn’t worked for almost 40 years. New head gasket last year and new hoses, belts, etc. Have custom made canvas top and spare tire, but the tire is probably older than me. All negotiations must be in person, thanks.”
Runs and drives.
