UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $17,500.
Looks good. It does lack top bow holders, but that’s a minor quibble.
“This jeep has had a complete frame off restoration restoring it to its original like-new condition starting with reproduction tub, fenders, tailgate, windshield, hood and grill all purchased from Willys Overland in Toledo, OH. All drive train components, springs, transmission, engine, electrical, etc were either professionally rebuilt or replaced with new old stock or repro parts-all receipts come with purchase. Body and paint work were done by an auto body professional in a authentic Luzon Red with harvest yellow rims and accent paint.
This vehicle has been driven less than 500 miles since its restoration was completed in 2009. I’m regretfully selling this since I have 4 others and I need to part with some due to tackling a major house renovation. This jeep starts quickly, runs like new and is ready for the beach, mountains, ranch, farm or wherever you want to enjoy it. I have outfitted it with new lap seat belts in front and rear seats which were not not originally installed in these jeeps.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $8000.
(10/02/2018) Has updated engine.

(04/01/2018) Lots of work has been completed.
“Frame off restoration is being completed how and is almost ready for paint. Fame and rear ends were media blasted then epoxy coated as well as some minor frame repair. Almost everything from the axles up is new or rebuilt. 330 hours on rebuilt engine, transmission and transfer case. All new springs, entire body, so no rust to come to combat in the near future. All new parts to put the jeep back together. The list of parts is almost endless.
I have not painted it because someone may want a different color than what I was going to paint it. It will be in gray primer. Also the body will be removed from the frame so it is ready to paint. If I paint it and reassemble the entire thing the price will be going up. I have all receipts for the motor work, transmission part, transfer case parts and current body work that will go with the jeep.

“Hey there. I got what I think is a 1947? cj2a willys jeep. I had it running a couple years ago. DOES NOT RUN RIGHT NOW!
she does turn over with a good battery, and it roll and shifts. Sometimes when I drove the jeep it would pop out of gear. Has no brakes. Jeep is rusty. But the frame is in good shape, not rotted out. Body is very rusty and rutted. Has very nice seats in it. Jeep is 12 set up for 12 volts. Asking 850. There is NO TITEL! I will do a bill of sale.”

Probably not a whole lot of value, but it does have some odd data plates on the dash. Also has full-floating rear hubs.
“1946 Willys Jeep CJ-2A. Body is rough and Engine doesn’t run. Frame is solid aside from the tweaked front horn but that’s easily fixed. Definitely a project but all the major pieces are there to get you started.”
