This runs, but needs work. It does have a column shifter.

“946 Willys Jeep CJ2A, runs and drives but needs throttle and clutch adjustments. Has rust but I feel it’s more solid than most. F134 4 cylinder engine with rare column shift. Asking $6000 OBO open to offers, if doesn’t sell in next week or so I’m going to list in local auction.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $10,700
This appears to have some Cutlas Bulldog hubs.
“CJ2A Willy’s from 1946. Ran well (with video) until I did spark plugs and wires, can’t figure out the timing on it. Has seatbelts, canvas top, and all kinds of Maintaince things done to it. Has NO RUST. Will consider unique trades with big motors or 4WD, or a Motorcycle/cash trade”
This may be a VEC, but I don’t see anything to indicate it is a ’45. Most likely it is a 1946.

“Thinking about selling my 45 Willy’s. I have owned it for about 8 years or so and I just don’t drive it. It has the original drivetrain and runs very good for its age. Anyway I just don’t have a clue what these things are worth these days. Would anyone mind sharing their opinion on the range that these things are going for these days? I am clueless and any help would be greatly appreciated”
Some classic mods on this 2A, including a Ford engine update, a chev column install, bucket seats and trailer tail lights. Note the driver side engine mount built to clear the steering column.

“1953 willys jeep for parts and a 1952 willys m38 frame. Have new 5 rims and tires to it.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $600.
The price seems good on this parts jeep whose body is plenty rusted. The hardtop has be confused. I think it may be a Koenig hardtop with customized “suicide” doors, but the windshield isn’t something I recognize. It may be this windshield allowed the use of a CJ-5 style hardtop.
The windshield doesn’t look like the DJ-3A windshield (shown here) nor does it look like the early Worman windshield (shown here). Anyone recognize it? It certainly looks production quality. I might have seen something similar on a jeep on Facebook, but I can no longer find that post.
Bill shared this Hemming’s ad for 2 CJ-2As, one with the Kubota swap. This combo is listed on Hemmings. Given the red jeep isn’t quite stock (front bumper has extra metal, it’s missing the front bow holder, there appear to be no tail lights, and the front parking lights are incorrect) and the black jeep is even less so (has even more mods), though has a new Diesel engine, the price seems a little aggressive.

“These 2 1946 Willy’s Jeep CJ-2’s are being offered as a package deal. The Red Jeep is a 2 owner vehicle, being in the seller’s family since 1953! It has been meticulously restored using all period correct parts, and only comes out for shows or parades. The Black Jeep is built for fun! Utilizing a Kubota Diesel out of a refer trailer (only 500 hours), along with a full swap kit and advice from our friends at Overland Diesel. Both are in amazing condition, and are available now! The owner would love to see them both stay together, but will entertain offers on either of them separately.More details below.”
