Tom shared this CJ-2A. There is only one pic, so hard to much about it.

“15 year old restoration..only taken to ahows and around neighborhood.”
The seller included two different sets of pics. I believe the set of pics without the rollbar and top is the pre-refurb state.

“For sale, 1947 Willys CJ2A jeep, totally restored lots of New parts but kept totally original. Has a little over 35,000 original miles and purrs like a kitten. 18,000. Located in Southern Nevada.”
Listed as a 1943, I don’t see anything thing here that is 1943ish. This jeep appears to have an M-38A1 or early CJ-5 frame, given the front springs have reversed shackles. The grille is likely a repro grill in the M-38 style.

“***POSTING FOR A FRIEND *** Has a Chevy 305 V8. 4 speed with O/D, P/S, and tilt steering wheel. Tires are great. Warn locking hubs. Bikini top.”
This was/is a VEC CJ-2A, though it has some mods now.. Note the early windshield, too.

“1946 CJ 2A. Has a Chevy 235 bolted to a T90 trans and Dana 20 transfer case. Has a Dana 30 front axle with disk breaks and an AMC 20 factory posi rear end. Needs some work still. Frame repaired in front and plated.”
This 2A has some updates and has been militarized. The seller notes the jeep ran prior to the rebuild. So, it’s not clear to me if it currently runs?
