UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
“You are looking at/bidding on a 1963 Jeep FC-150 in excellent condition. I am selling this for a very good friend of mine who is not exactly computer literate! Please feel free to ask any questions at all that you may have about the vehicle, and I will relay them in a timely manner.
He has owned this Jeep for over 25 years and has taken very good care of it. It was re-painted three years ago, and has been garage kept ever since. (Over $3k invested) (It’s been garage kept for almost 20 years) The seats were re-upholstered just last summer to the tune of $750. The only issue with the vehicle is that the speedometer stopped working in March. It has only been driven four or five times since then, and therefore the mileage on the odometer is only about 100 miles off.
-This model is the 4 cylinder (134 CI) 3 speed transmission with a 2 speed transfer case.
-It has a PTO driven 8,000 pound winch that is fully functional (Ramsey)
-Good windshield with no cracks or chips at all.
-The plumbing and undercarriage for a plow is on the Jeep, but no plow is included with the sale. (Previous owner plowed with it about 30 years ago)
-4 Brand new Hercules tires with less than 50 miles on them. (Purchased 3 weeks ago)
-Vehicle is 100% ready to turn key and go.”
It looks like there is some value here!

UPDATE: **SOLD** (04/24/2011) It has some dings and dents, but otherwise appears pretty solid.
“1957 Jeep FC150 Forward Control 4×4. Jeep has the F134 4cyl engine, runs great. Transmission is a T90 3 speed, shifts well, and clutch works fine. D18 transfer case, 4wd works like it should. The truck comes with a Western snow plow and mount. Windshield has a crack, but I have a good replacement windshield. Small amount of rust on the cab corners, and above the windshield, but nothing major as this truck has been in dry Colorado its whole life.

Steve reports on the Ouray 4th of July Festival. Learn more at the Forward Forum. See all the pictures here.
“Here is Craig and Jason’s big day in Ouray (You-ray), Colorado. It’s the mountain town’s signature event of the year, The Fourth Of July. They asked Craig to bring his restored San Juan Mountain Tour Truck to join in their parade.
Jason found one of the other original tour Jeep Forward Control trucks and surprised them with twins. He just finished the restoration just last week and headed strait for Ouray. Jason’s truck has the yellow signs that say, “Think.”
This links you to the Town’s website describing their 4th of July Festivities. Here are photos of the Two coolest FC trucks ever restored joining their parade. The red FC trucks came from the states of Missouri and Texas to join the reunion in Colorado. They even went on a trail ride across the old routes where the trucks carried tourists through the beautiful San Juan Mountains of Southern Colorado. What a cool experience; I wish I could have been there.”

Oil Change, Brakes adjusted, carburetor overhauled, replaced spark plugs, replaced upper and lower heater hoses, replaced fan belt, overhauled the fuel tank, resealed the transmission, replaced the battery, replaced pinion seal, resealed transfer case. Jesse is selling a flatbed FC-170.
“This is an original 1961 FC-170, 226 / T-90 / D 18, 3/4 ton Flatbed, it has the overload spring pack, Previous Owner installed a sheet metal floor over the bed.
This truck has been in my shop area, since 2003, it was being daily driven and used for farming, until 1990, in Southern, AZ. I drove it up and off of my trailer, and drove it a little around here. It was popping out of gear, so I had the trans rebuilt, the radiator was leaking, it was repaired. It is not currently running. It is a good starting project, it is not pretty, brushed on house paint and needs some body work and some flat glass. It is fairly complete, it even has a good windshield. The best part is it is inexpensive. $1750.
We needed to use the gantry, so we pulled it out to clean up my shop area.
This is what we are doing on it now, the upright pipes on the bed have been removed from the bed, the drivers floor needed to be repaired, and has been welded in, the back of the bed had rust on it and the side rails, it has been repaired and reinforced.
