“Rare and interesting Foward Control Willys 1 ton truck with a 9′ cargo box. Inline six “Hurricane” engine and T-98 four-speed trans. 5:38 gear ratio 4 x 4 + Hi-Low transfer case and PTO winch. Said to be an ex-government truck.
Truck has been restored by an unknown party but appears to be a frame-off. Everything is redone top to bottom. Frame and running gear are clean and freshly painted. Interior is amazing, with fresh vinyl everywhere and even a complete headliner. Needs new door seals. (Available). Has new floor mats. New tires on coated rims. New gas tank. Must have been a ton of money spent on this.
Over $2000. in recent work by me with complete new brakes and tune-up, carb rebuild, etc. Has new electric wiper system that works perfectly. The body is very sraight and I can’t find a hint of rust anywhere, but there was a problem with paint prep, and the new paint is coming off. Will need prep and paint to be perfect.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
Hook up a battery and this is supposed to run.
“I’m selling this for my father. it’s a Forward Control 150 front and rear dana 44 axles with factory 5.88 gears, 3 speed manual 4×4 locking front hubs. he bought it to plow and now uses something else so this rare Willys just sits. put a battery in it and a starter and use it as is or restore it or turn it into a trail rig. the cab corners are rotted but if you turn it into a trail rig you’ll want to cut those put to fit bigger tires. these are very rare if you can find one in better shape running and driving with a title buy it but good luck. anyway price is $1500 but may entertain serious offers plow comes with for the right offer. might trade for something 4×4 but other offers considered.”
UPDATE: Was $5800. **SOLD**
Runs and drives.

(08/22/2014) Brian forwarded this ad for a running and driving FC that needs some finish work.
“1957 jeep fc 150. Pretty good condition I think for its age and very hard to find. Whole jeep is painted with spray paint for quick and easy touch ups if needed.New tires less than 500 miles on them. Runs good and and drives nice. Has 4 cyl hurricane motor with a 3 speed manual tranny. Missing the windshield as u can see in pics.Needs a little more work to be finished but is drivable the way it is.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
“1959 FC150 with a non original telephone co. utility bed. Stock engine and drivetrain. It hasn’t run in years but I just put a new starter in and rebuilt the distributor getting ready to fire it up. It has all new brakes and lines and master cyl. ”

“For sale 1960 Jeep FC150-4 cyclinder 3 speed 4 wheel drive.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $1000.
(05/21/2014) It’s a project.
“This FC 150 is in very good condition, especially for the age. The frame is excellent and the 4 cylinder motor ran well. I disassembled it to restore it but ran out of time. The stake body bed is in great condition with an electric dump mechanism. I have the tailgate for the truck also. I also have a plow frame for it. The 4 wheel drive is all there and works. The body is overall pretty good. The only bad part is the floors which will need some attention. It would be an easy fix as it is pretty flat and tacking in or screwing on a new piece of sheet metal is all it would take. The cab corners are nice and the gutter that runs along the roof is solid. The doors overall are in good condition. I don’t have the original seats for it unfortunately. The doghouse for the motor is in good shape. I have all the glass also. This is the shorter wheelbase truck (82″) and I’m told these trucks go ANYWHERE! You can put it back together and have some fun with it this summer or take your time and restore this collectible Jeep. The windshield did have a crack in it. Sold with a Bill of Sale. Serious inquiries only please.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
(09/15/2014) Runs and drives.
“Overall good condition. Starts, runs, yard drives, 4 wheel drive works. carb just rebuilt but needs fuel pump. All doors and windows work, all glass is good, needs brake work and body work. Frame is solid. Has plow frame and custom made welders flatbed body, No title. Mostly complete but is missing a few things such as passenger seat. I wanted the start the work but I am now moving and didn’t want to get half into it and leave a mess for the next guy. It is here for you in original condition.”
UPDATE: Still Available
(09/18/2014) Runs, but doesn’t stop.
“1961 FC150 Jeep Willy’s
Runs and drives
4cyl Hurricane
4×4 works
Original everything
Custom wood flat bed
No brakes “
Runs, but needs rear seal. No title.
“1963 or 1964 vin. number makes it either or. NO TITLE. All the normal spots that a FC170 rusts is rusted. Glass was good until lawn mower threw rock and cracked driver side window. I think the tranny is a T90 which works good along with the transfer case. The brake lines have been replaced, wheel cylinder have been rebuilt the master cylinder needs to be replaced or rebuilt. The motor is a flat head 6 continental it runs but the rear seal is out. Tires hold air but should be replaced. The plow pump works but needs a cable. This was a winter project but wife has other ideas.”
