UPDATE: Was $3900. **SOLD**
“Up for auction is my SUPER RARE 1963 Willys 4×4 Jeep FC-170 forward control pickup truckwith full light bar. It has a desirable, 6-cylinder motor that was rebuilt 10 years ago. It has a manual transmission. The Jeep has been garaged and has not been run in the last 5 years due to the clutch going out. It needs brake work. I have not tried to start it since I parked it a few years ago. There are small, minor rust spots at random around the vehicle; also, the floor pans on driver’s and passenger sides needs work. This vehicle has always been garaged. This would be fantastic as a restoration project, or to do some work and drive around as it is now!
UPDATE: Was $1500. **SOLD**
This runs and drives.
“1957 Forward Control Jeep FC-150 runs and drives and steers very well. The lights, turn signals, and wipers work. The clutch is a little grabby but it shifts fine. The engine sounds good with no knocking or smoking. It is 12 volt and has electric wipers. The wheels are powder coated and it has new BF Goodrich T/A KO tires. The carburetor, fuel pump, intake manifold, stainless surge tank, e-brake cable and shoes, and transfer case output seal are recently new. It has the usual rust problems in the cab corners, bed, and floor, but the roof gutters are solid and the bed rails are straight. There is a PTO with a sprocket and chain that probably drove a hoist at some point. It does also have the rear ballast weight in place. I can assist with shipping if you make all the arrangements.”
UPDATE: Still Available

(07/14/2014) Unclear if it will run or not.
“For sale : Super cool Jeep FC-170 4 wheel drive. Has been re-powered with a Ford 6 cylinder , looks like a 300 but not sure. Has Jeep trans and Dana 44’s front and rear. I bought it with the intent of restoring it or putting the cab on a late model GM van chassis, but have no time. I’ve been too busy to take a battery and gas can to it so I don’t know if it runs or not. Everything looks complete, body is not perfect but not junk either-minor rust in the usual places. Doors open and close nicely. The flatbed is wood with corrugated steel over, wood is pretty rotted. Frame has light scale but is real solid. Rolls nice and steers well. Have clear title but didn’t change it into my name.“
It’s a project.
“This is a project. It needs to be seen in person. The Chevy Vortec engine came out of a 2002 Chev truck and is the same engine used in the Blazer. It includes automatic transmission and 4wd output. The frame has been modified for this engine but some work remains to be done. The frame was sand blasted to bare metal, then primered and then painted with Imron. The two seats have been reupholstered. It will take a couple trailers to transport everything. It is stored in a storage garage in Los Angeles.”
My wife went with her uncle and aunt to Ellensburg to check out some antiques. While there, she encountered the owners of Hoptown Pizza (the FC makes the website, too), a new mobile wood-fired pizza company. They decided to buy the FC-150 you see below (found in Yakima). Apparently, they know little about FCs, but they thought it was cute and practical. They still need to repaint it and rebrand it for their business.
Ann tried their pizza and told me it was outstanding! So, if you are in the Ellensburg, Washington, area and you see them at an event, make sure to grab some pizza!
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
It’s a project. It includes a parts rig.
“These old Jeeps are cool, ugly but cool. When was the last time you saw one of these on the road? You don’t even see them at the local hot rod cruise in’s. Ugly or cool, they are very unique! When I was driving this beast around it always drew a crowd – at the gas station, at the store and got waves on the road all the time!
This is a great project, all the parts and pieces are here and ready for your attention. It has been in my garage for 12 plus years, time for me to move along and transfer this to someone who is going to finish it!
Doesnt’ run.

(01/14/2014) This might make a good parts vehicle or more.
“Vehicle is all there except rear fenders. Got hit by a tree in the bed and it needs recycling. Tranny and engine were rebuilt but seized now. Windshield cracked, some rust, on rubber, can be towed.”

“Rare and interesting Foward Control Willys 1 ton truck with a 9′ cargo box. Inline six “Hurricane” engine and T-98 four-speed trans. 5:38 gear ratio 4 x 4 + Hi-Low transfer case and PTO winch. Said to be an ex-government truck.
Truck has been restored by an unknown party but appears to be a frame-off. Everything is redone top to bottom. Frame and running gear are clean and freshly painted. Interior is amazing, with fresh vinyl everywhere and even a complete headliner. Needs new door seals. (Available). Has new floor mats. New tires on coated rims. New gas tank. Must have been a ton of money spent on this.
Over $2000. in recent work by me with complete new brakes and tune-up, carb rebuild, etc. Has new electric wiper system that works perfectly. The body is very sraight and I can’t find a hint of rust anywhere, but there was a problem with paint prep, and the new paint is coming off. Will need prep and paint to be perfect.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
Hook up a battery and this is supposed to run.
“I’m selling this for my father. it’s a Forward Control 150 front and rear dana 44 axles with factory 5.88 gears, 3 speed manual 4×4 locking front hubs. he bought it to plow and now uses something else so this rare Willys just sits. put a battery in it and a starter and use it as is or restore it or turn it into a trail rig. the cab corners are rotted but if you turn it into a trail rig you’ll want to cut those put to fit bigger tires. these are very rare if you can find one in better shape running and driving with a title buy it but good luck. anyway price is $1500 but may entertain serious offers plow comes with for the right offer. might trade for something 4×4 but other offers considered.”
UPDATE: Was $5800. **SOLD**
Runs and drives.
“57 Jeep FC 150………mechanically sound….driven weekly……some rust.”
UPDATE: Was $1500. **SOLD**
(08/05/2014) Does not run.
“Selling my FC 150 Jeep, too many projects not enough time. Jeep has typical NY rot/rust issues and I was told the engine is set up however, I do have a replacement engine. I do not have a registration. Jeep is pretty much complete minus tailgate.”
UPDATE: Was $6800. **SOLD**
(08/22/2014) Brian forwarded this ad for a running and driving FC that needs some finish work.
“1957 jeep fc 150. Pretty good condition I think for its age and very hard to find. Whole jeep is painted with spray paint for quick and easy touch ups if needed.New tires less than 500 miles on them. Runs good and and drives nice. Has 4 cyl hurricane motor with a 3 speed manual tranny. Missing the windshield as u can see in pics.Needs a little more work to be finished but is drivable the way it is.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
“1959 FC150 with a non original telephone co. utility bed. Stock engine and drivetrain. It hasn’t run in years but I just put a new starter in and rebuilt the distributor getting ready to fire it up. It has all new brakes and lines and master cyl. ”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown**
Looks like a good FC.
“For sale 1960 Jeep FC150-4 cyclinder 3 speed 4 wheel drive.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $1000.
(05/21/2014) It’s a project.
“This FC 150 is in very good condition, especially for the age. The frame is excellent and the 4 cylinder motor ran well. I disassembled it to restore it but ran out of time. The stake body bed is in great condition with an electric dump mechanism. I have the tailgate for the truck also. I also have a plow frame for it. The 4 wheel drive is all there and works. The body is overall pretty good. The only bad part is the floors which will need some attention. It would be an easy fix as it is pretty flat and tacking in or screwing on a new piece of sheet metal is all it would take. The cab corners are nice and the gutter that runs along the roof is solid. The doors overall are in good condition. I don’t have the original seats for it unfortunately. The doghouse for the motor is in good shape. I have all the glass also. This is the shorter wheelbase truck (82″) and I’m told these trucks go ANYWHERE! You can put it back together and have some fun with it this summer or take your time and restore this collectible Jeep. The windshield did have a crack in it. Sold with a Bill of Sale. Serious inquiries only please.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
(09/15/2014) Runs and drives.
“Overall good condition. Starts, runs, yard drives, 4 wheel drive works. carb just rebuilt but needs fuel pump. All doors and windows work, all glass is good, needs brake work and body work. Frame is solid. Has plow frame and custom made welders flatbed body, No title. Mostly complete but is missing a few things such as passenger seat. I wanted the start the work but I am now moving and didn’t want to get half into it and leave a mess for the next guy. It is here for you in original condition.”
UPDATE: Still Available
(09/18/2014) Runs, but doesn’t stop.
“1961 FC150 Jeep Willy’s
Runs and drives
4cyl Hurricane
4×4 works
Original everything
Custom wood flat bed
No brakes “
Runs, but needs rear seal. No title.
“1963 or 1964 vin. number makes it either or. NO TITLE. All the normal spots that a FC170 rusts is rusted. Glass was good until lawn mower threw rock and cracked driver side window. I think the tranny is a T90 which works good along with the transfer case. The brake lines have been replaced, wheel cylinder have been rebuilt the master cylinder needs to be replaced or rebuilt. The motor is a flat head 6 continental it runs but the rear seal is out. Tires hold air but should be replaced. The plow pump works but needs a cable. This was a winter project but wife has other ideas.”
