It’s come time for me to part with my 1962 FC-150 WideTrack. No specific reason, it’s just where I am right now. I’ve driven it ~18 miles in the last 3 years. Runs great and the electric fuel pump is a plus. It’s located in NE Pennsylvania. I can confidently say, you won’t be disappointed. Just to be up front, I don’t have to sell it, I just don’t have the passion anymore and I have no doubt there are others on here that do. Here’s the breakdown if you are interested. I also have pictures during the build if you are seriously interested. I figured I’d post it here first. Thanks in advance for your consideration.
UPDATE: **SOLD** for $4700 plus auction fees.

“I have a mid 1950’s jeep fc150 4×4 for sale. I have had this thing listed a few times now but did alittle bit more work too it.. the engine turns over great, it’s a 3speed. It does not run right now. It needs a new ignition wire & few other things. I’m not sure on mileage either ! The jeep has rust in the floors, & the common places. I bought this with the intention on restoring it for my business but I do not have the time at all & would love too see it go to a better home. No trades, cash only, no title”

“I’m helping a friend sell some FC body panels that her deceased husband was collecting. I’m not an expert on the FC’s so I’m doing my best. There are multiple cab corners, floors, and upper cab portions. I have more pictures and can get more if needed. Price?? Speaking with a couple of local resources here is what I’m being told to ask for them:
Cab corners are $400 each
Cab roof pillars $200 each.
Cab with corners and floor $1500.00
Package deals can be made as well. Shipping can be arranged at buyers expense. Might have some doors for sale as well I’m working on that. Please IM with questions.”

This FC-170 “Whirl-away” ashtray, that included the engraved signature of Jim Falvey, sold for $37.60 (plus $13,65 shipping) yesterday. I am not entirely sure, but perhaps Jim Falvey was related to Falvey Motor Sales out of Michigan (same state as the eBay seller is from)?
“Offered is a Rare Dealer Promo Jeep FC170 Forword Control Whirl Away Ashtray . Beautiful “Whirl-Away” ashtray has a divider inside that sweeps the ashes and butts to the back when you turn the bowl part. Has a Jeep FC-170 solid metal truck on top, engraved with the dealers name “Jim Falvey””
UPDATE: Sold. Was $2200.
Could be worth a look. Doesn’t run at the moment.
“1959 FC-170 Jeep. 6 cylinder with title ready to sign over. From what I know it has only had one owner since 1968. The truck does not currently run. It has the motor and trans though. From what I can see it seems to be pretty complete and the body is in great shape, very straight. Look at pics. The floor boards have very little rust, what you can see in the pictures is mostly dirt. Do not know the milage.”
This is sitting a junk yard in Pendleton. Not much value here.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $300.
Could be a good find for the right person.
“Complete rolling frame. Good rears. Transmission and transfer case. Counterweight”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000
(02/19/2020) James shared this combo for sale. One has a title and one doesn’t.
“1. 1960 wide track 134 Fhead motor. t90 3 speed transmission. PTO on the back. dana 18 transfer case dana 44 front and rear axles in 5.38 gears. i bought this as a complete truck. i have a title for this one. i took it apart to restore it. project lost steam. the rear counterweight is there.
when i got it home, i put a brand new Toyota starter on it, poured some gas down the carb, hot wired it, and the engine fired right up and purrs like a kitten. this was after cleaning the points, obviously as it sat for 20 years. i was going to restore this into my dream truck, but i dont have the patience for this long term project.
to update the mechanical s, i bought, but haven’t installed:
*new clutch kit
*new electronic distributor to get rid of the old points and condensers
*new coil
* new wilwood brake MC, and brake brackets (converted to disk brakes).
*new radiator
*new lots of stuff…..just cant think of it all at the moment. the body is rough, but its all there.
2. 1958 jeep FC150. this is the narrow track version, closer to a CJ. same motor/tranny as above. i bought this one for parts for my restore, but got sick of working on the ’60 and got this one driving, just to say i drove an FC. body is a little better than than the red one. *NO TITLE FOR THIS ONE*
all interior parts are there for both.
i have a new windshield that comes with the sale.
i have a spare set of upper back corners that come with the sale.
i put salvage in condition, but they are both fairly solid, and can be combined to a heck of a nice jeep.
there are TWO complete FCs. i will not seperate anything.
UPDATE: **SOLD**. Was on Facebook.
(03/07/2020) Looks in good shape.
“Going to have to sell my 170. I just bought this day after Christmas. Have done some improvements to the truck. My wife pulled a muscle in her shoulder getting in the cab. So she won’t be riding in it no more. I’ve put around 1700 miles on the truck since I bought it. Runs and drives great. Gets around 12-14 mpg. $12,500 firm located in Romney WV 26757”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $4000.
(02/08/2020) It’s a project. The serial number indicates it is a 1959.
“This is a project truck, needs a full restoration has all parts engine and transmission (doesn’t run). Needs all glass and mirrors but has the mechanisms for all. Body is in great condition no dents and bumpers are still solid, has obvious rust in the usual places but nothing thru and thru. Its a flatbed possibly used for forestry. The railing metals are there but needs wood replaced at flat bed and rails. Someone attached the camper to it but its not designed for it. This truck belongs to my wifes uncle so I don’t know much about it. But I did look it up and they sell for about $4000 in this condition
Now here is the thing about this truck, its located in a small town called Taylorsville right outside of Greenville. I took many pictures of it and if you are truly interested I can tow in myself down to where I live in Stockton. This is NOT a SCAM. I will not ask you for any kind of payment until we are in person and you’ve seen it with your own eyes. I’m just kind of putting this out there to see if anyone is interested if so then I can tow it down at my expense. I really just don’t have the space to have it here (I live in an apartment)”
